  I have been through many branded kettles, including Kenwood, Breville (x2) and others. Currently have a good Kmart one which is doing better than the others. Gets better reviews, too.

    I got Kmart first. Glass is not borosilicate and lid opened too little for comfortable filling.

  I have a Breville and whilst is still works lately the lid pops open when water is boiling and the open lid means water doesn't get to a temperature to shut off kettle so keeps boiling away till all the water is gone, bordering on dangerous. might grab this.

  Westinghouse Small appliances such as kettles, toasters, air fryers etc are owned by a totally different company to Westinghouse Major appliances such as fridges ovens and dishwashers which is owned by Electrolux.
