Not the best deal but still $150 off RRP.
Only slightly cheaper than Amazon.

Can price beat Centrecom at officeworks. Got one for 1582 after waiting for Telstra for 2 months and cancelling order.
Why do people buy this when they could just get discounted apple gift cards and buy the phone at launch for the same price.
i doubt a fanboy would buy last gen
Haha. I prefer apple phones by far from a FanBoy. I cant recall the last time I even bought the a current model iPhone.
I have use for a Macro camera lens, and the 13 Pro is the 1st iPhone that came with one.
how and where do I get discounted apple gift cards?
I only ever saw the Itunes ones on sale, but not the apple store ones.
itunes and apple store gift cards are now the same. you can use it on app store or apple store
Thank you. I didnt know that. I will need to check if its tax debatable if the phones invoice was used with gift cards.
@Skullytor: Should be, the invoice doesn't say gift cards anywhere on it.
@coxymla: lol if we paid with gift card and it's tax free hahaah
@Skullytor: Provided you have an invoice with your name on it and use it for a tax-deductible purpose, it will be tax deductible to the extent it was used for said purpose
There's no iTunes GC anymore. Apple GC at Coles/WW can be used to purchase hardware.
If you say that supermarket points effectively make the GC 9% off, then a 14 Pro 256GB would be ~$1728.
Not sure how you would get 9% off as Colesworth GC's can't be used to buy other GC's. Unless you have a staff discount that is.
@JDMcarfan: At Woolworths, it's 20x points and 2,000 points gets you $10 off your shop.
$100 Apple Gift Card = (100 points x 20) = 2,000 points = $10 off which is effectively 10% off.
@JDMcarfan: I meant bonus points for the 9% off, but Coles Myer GC can be used to purchase Apple GC, so in the rare case you can purchase Coles GC at a discount (e.g. Vintage Cellars cashback) and then use those GC to purchase Apple GC when there's a 20x flybuys points offer.
@JDMcarfan: It's assumed that we all have to buy food or essentials from Colesworth. Those bonus points will allow people to pay for eligible items at Colesworth. It is 9% off due to using 10/110, instead of 10/100.
sorry @coxymla and thanks for the detailed clarification @BillyG687/@netsurfer
I haven't kept up-to-date with the supermarket points deals, and instead was under the assumption that you were perhaps stacking the purchase of WW giftcards (old 5% / now Macquarie 4%) with a Apple GC promo (where you get extra credit) and were cashing in the regular points earned on offer.
Have upvoted ur original comment as an apology (I hope that's enough?), and know have a new technique to buying an IP14, thanks to you all!
I actually have like $1000 in Coles Gift cards so your latter suggestion is even better for me!
You can get the gift cards at 5% off with Macquarie Bank
iPhone 14 pro is $1899, minus 10% gift card is $1709 if you manage to get gift cards
but where exactly are these 10% off gift cards :-D
Just keep an eye on here. No long ago there were some at the online gift places (10% off)
This is definitely not worth it at this price, now that the 14 Pro is out.
Yep, iPhone 14 Pro 256Gb is $1899 which is only $229 more…and iPhone 13 is already one year old tech.
yeh. good point. I am hoping the 13 Pro drops a bit more
I just found out my union gives me 5% off.
But Apple dont do fast delivery yet. Stock I assume. So I'll wait.
If the 13 Pro comes down further, I'll get that. Otherwise I might get the 14 Pro a 5% off
You won’t be disappointed with getting the iPhone 14 pro over the iPhone 13 Pro if it’s $200-$300 difference…you’re already spending +$1.5k on a phone. 😅
@ne-us: However 256G 14 pro is like 2000 plus which is 500+ than this one
@adpaholic: We’re talking about the 256GB 14 Pro $1899:
https://www.jbhifi.com.au/products/apple-iphone-14-pro-256gb…
really not worth it. the price between the 14 version is negligible.
I got the 14 Pro - I think the cheapest 13 Pro was about $300 off. For $300 a 1 year old model is not a good buy. $500ish difference I'd have got the 13 Pro
I think the difference between 13 and 14 are indeed minor, and so is price.
I'm after an iPhone 13 Pro 256GB. Happy to be informed if there are better deals out there.
