    • Although the blend of plant proteins increases the PDCAAS, it is still lower than than whey protein isolates (wpi) which has the full range of amino acids.

You will have to consume more calories of this compared to normal wpi to get the same anabolic effects hence a 45g serve of this protein gram for gram, will be equivalent to a 28-30g of a good quality nz grass fed equivalent wpi.

So the better ozbargain is to stick to wpi from a caloric perspective if you are not vegan and if you are vegan, do you even have time to lift? You would be too busy telling non vegans how much better you are than them.

In all seriousness you can get 1kg of spi (soy) for about $30 or wpi for about $45 so the price to effect ratio is actually competitive for the wpi. For me I would rather go for less calories while getting the same quality of amino acids but i guess it all depends on use case.

So like you apparently have a lot of time to go into vegan product posts to proselytise?

        OK champ

    tastes like science!

I wonder who makes up the serving amounts.

    I've seen protein powder with 25g serving(w/19g protien) to 30g serving(w/25g protein).

45g does not even divide nicely with the packaged amount

it adds up to a nicer, high number of 32g of protein though! impressive?

    • 45g does not even divide nicely with the packaged amount

I guess the additional 1/3 of a serve accounts for spills and overheaps.

    Thought this was chicken salt

Had this one before, disgustingly sweet.

I first misread the label "Clean Vegan Protection"

Can't be too careful keeping those pesky clean vegans away!

  • I dont know much about comparing the science stuff but cost per kg wise, the Musashi discounts at the moment work out better

Thanks! Got the whey for the same price, good deal

  • I much prefer "proper and genuine" whey protein, made from real ingredients. Chemist Warexxxse has real whey protein on sale at the present.
