Hi,
I'm over those extra credit card surcharges we get everywhere these days.
I remember the good old days where we got 5% cashback from ING. Are there any these days?
Thanks

Thank you. HSBC was the only one i found too. Seema like thats the only option. Would be great if it was a credit card, as i dont really want to open another everyday savings account. But looks like i dont have a choice.
Not too keen on the others you suggested as i usually go for FF Bonus credit cards.
Don't forget only for purchases less than $100 and if you use contactless.
For Credit Cards, there are a couple. I use the AMEX essentials which gives you 0.625% cashback (in points which you can use to reduce your credit card bill). This can be used for online transactions to complement your potential HSBC debit card.
Not really cashback but Coles Mastercard is pretty good for rewards - 2000 FlyBuys points gives automatic $10 discount at Coles (0.5% return). You can get points from credit card purchases but also stack with points when shopping at Coles, Kmart, etc.
There's also this one: https://www.americanexpress.com/au/credit-cards/cashback-cre…
Monthly Fee $10 means $120 annual cost.
2% cashback from HSBC's debit card (Everyday Global)
You could consider some credit card signup bonuses as cashback (for the first $3000 spent)
Some examples include:
- Citibank Rewards Card ($490 worth of gift cards for $3000 spent $49 annual fee)
- St George Amplify Platinum ($450 worth of gift cards for $3000 spent $29 annual fee)
