Honest question. Would this be suitable for like a nerdy space dude like myself or is it more for the kids?

I wanted to visit but it does seem very childish.
Also the news presenter spoke like he was speaking to a primary school class…

    • Sheldon't bother

No idea what this exhibition is like, but, if you're really into space, well worth a trip to Houston. We had the most amazing time there. The space centre was absolutely incredible, going to mission control where they put humans on the moon etc was a highlight.

      • Do they still have the Saturn V rocket at the front?
I visited there many many years ago and then drove down to Galveston…

      • going to mission control

How much smaller is that in real life compared to what you see on TV…

      • Pffft. Real enthusiasts book themselves on a proper space trip with Virgin Galactic or the like.

    • You will be disappointed. Even kids will be if they're slightly into space.

Information available isn't as updated, and seems like just targetting parents not knowing where to bring their kids.

Absolute waste of time and money this…

  • Read the reviews.. They're are way too many one star reviews and this put me off esp of you add in kids tickets.

  • Unfortunately, it was a massive disappointment. Not really immersive in any way, except perhaps maybe the documentary film which was shown on all four walls of the room. But that is a stretch. Admittedly my kids are older (13-18yo) and an astronomer partner. Plus from memory it was pretty expensive. Fortunately we followed it up with FunLabs monthly pass to do escape room and laser tag.
