  • Merged from [eBay Plus] Anycubic Mono SE resin printer $116.22 Delivered @ anycubic-direct eBay
    Go to Deal
    Coupon Code: PLSAV22

I really hate to post this deal… as it is cheaper than when I bought it and posted the deal on the weekend.

At this price you can't really go wrong!

In any case… if this ebay listing runs out, do a search for "anycubic mono se" to find other listings with the same price and the same discount coupon, e.g.:

    etc

    Other info:

Was originally around $350, and more recently around $230.

It has small printing volume but at this price it is a great opportunity to get into this hobby. The quality of printed miniatures (for example) is quite amazing (compared to more commonly available FDM printers).

    From the listing:

ANYCUBIC Photon Mono SE Resin 3D Printer

    • Fast Printing 80mm/h
    • 6" 2K Monochrome LCD Scree

【6.08 "2K Monochrome LCD】 Larger prints, more details and accuracy.

      Phenomenal deal.

For those that will inevitably ask about the wash and cure:

I bought this salad spinner from kmart and filled it with isopropyl alcohol and it works great.

      https://www.kmart.com.au/product/salad-spinner-42643456/?sel…

Curing is trickier, I've been using a UV nail light and it's ok, but takes far longer to cure using this method. There are some DIY options, getting UV light strips and lining a box etc. You could also leave it in the sun for a few hours.

The Wash and Cure 2.0 is $164 and is easier to use than the above - but you don't necessarily NEED it. I did end up buying the wash and cure, mostly for the Curing part, but feel it was unnecessary now that I received it.

With the same coupon code as the printer itself, you can get it for $132 now though as opposed to the $164 otherwise

      • That is a great price for the wash and cure as well! Darn - I bought that too on the weekend :-(
… but if my calculations are right… that one comes down to $128? still a great deal!

        • Depends if you get the 20 or 22% discount I suppose!

      • Do you have any idea (very roughly) on the consumable cost per miniature sized figure/print?

        • Depends on the size of the print, the slicing software will show you the estimated ml of resin required, as well as the cost based on what you paid.

I've only printed a few things; a small pikachu (6cm high) was roughly $1.20 from memory.

You can play with things such as hollowing the miniature, thickness, density etc etc. to really vary the cost.

I printed a skull about the same size as the pikachu, and it was closer to $5.50 as I forgot to hollow it. It weighs a lot more than the pikachu as well.

          • @The Hobo: Recommended Resin for Miniatures?

            • @BewareOfThe Dog: I've only tried the anycubic stuff and the inkstation stuff (tecor), both seem fine. I've only done one print with the tecor one though.

              • @The Hobo: I sent a message also to these guys. I'm a noob, and i guess I'll be buying a salid spinner.

  • What is the resin you use with this for miniatures?

Here are the ones on their Ebay Store

  • Might be worth waiting for auctions as the vouchers seen to apply it as well

  • This is even cheaper than the bidding prices when I purchased the Mono SE..! Anycubic reaally trying to empty the warehouse. What a great deal.
