    Great post.

I bought 2x from Bunnings Burleigh for $5.01 about 3 months ago. Great if you already have a battery.

Do you dual wield? +5 damage, -2 hit chance?

Depends on how many points he invested in the skill.

  • One of my local stores had the line trimmer one for a similar price. Battery connection didn't look similar to anything i had so i left it.

Anyone know if they use one of the common battery connections?

  • $10? $5? How much do these cost to make? The margins on the batteries must be extraordinary.

    • same as printers and ink cartridges

    • around $40, sometimes need to cut your losses if its not selling or the manufacturer probably told them to discard them and they'll receive a credit so they sell them for cheap to save on disposal fees

    • They are obviously a clearance line.

You cant really imply a cost to make them from this, they sell things under cost all the time just to clear them out.

Bought some near date giant Toblerone 360 gram bars the other day for around $1 each. That doesn't suggest they are making $11 profit at the normal $12 price.

There is one left now and the price has been changed to $30. The staff member who helped me find it made up the most bs story that people have somehow got Bunnings clearance stickers and are putting them on items and writing their own prices. Why someone would do that for this item which doesn't come with a battery so will be hard to resell doesn't make any sense to me. Especially seeing as they went to the trouble of changing the price of every one and then didn't buy them. Anyway, I still bought one for $20 which is the lowest he could let me have it without getting into trouble apparently. So yeah, F U Bunnings North Lakes!

    • Doesn't even make sense. The barcode sets the price. Some stores have douche bags. $20 is still ok. Be interested to see what batteries are compatible.

        The barcode sets the price.

From my experience it often doesn't when they do these store specific sales. Bought several things there recently with similar clearance labels and they had to enter the price manually.

Still, their excuse is BS. My local had some of this brand on clearance for a similar price as well a couple of weeks back.

  • I asked Bunnings about battery and charge and was told it would come to $150…

  • Just got mine going with an Aldi Xfinity battery. Bit of surgery on the case, battery connector and circuit board. Works well.
