            @sam91: Yeah it's weird. It's a mystery that shall remain known only to the gods of the DSE pricing department!

            Personally, I picked up the one with the bonus RAM for my wife yesterday and the guy on the counter was surprised at the inclusion of the RAM too.

    I can't go to a store so will buy online - the DSE website doesn't say how much cash back there is on this and the Acer website asks for a SNID (!) before you find our how much - did you actually get $149 back? Seems a very good deal - thanks for posting it.

      When I went to the Acer cashback site and entered the SNID it came up with "Aspire 5315-301G12Mi $149 Cashback (N372)".

      Sadly I think the deal is only available in store.

    Bought one, they installed the extra 1gb ram for us. Great price after cash back, even jb told us it was good.

    They installed it for you? That's awesome! I wasn't sure about that and didn't bother asking because I've installed RAM in Acers before and it wasn't too much hassle.
