If you are using an Android phone, good luck with setting up the DJI GO app.
Known issues and terrible terrible support (non-existent).
App from Play Store will not work and the developer will ask you to install .apk —> this also breaks and does not work most times as soon as there is an Android update.
Basically, please stay away from DJI Gimbals if you are an Android user.

The gimbal that I am using is this DJI OM5, it's small and compact. If you want something bigger with a bit more movement range, then look at the OM4 model.
Yes, it's a hit-and-miss on my Samsung phone. Just does not work when I need it the most. I am also not a big fan of installing .apk files straight from a DJI website. Glad to hear that its working for someone!

What is good for S22U?. I have this, bought for Wifey's phone but haven't tried it yet.

@Durranimo: I'm using the OM5 with my S22U and the DJI Mimo app. When you mount the clip on the S22U, make sure you check the phone's balance on the OM5 first before turning it on. The phone should be able to be positioned roughly horizontal when the gimbal is off, like balancing on a see saw.
All the complaints are about the DJI Go app. That is not the app for the OM5 (maybe it was for the old OM3)
You need to use the DJI Mimo app with the OM5, which like you said, unfortunately has to be downloaded as an APK from DJI, likely because of it not passing Google Play's privacy requirements for apps on the app store.
if it uses the same app for iOS as the previous models, the app does not get stereo audio recording. only way to get that is us the native camera app.
works decently as a dumb gimbal but if you want any of those extra features you have to make compromises by using the buggy DJI app.

Also, I feel like buying through JB might provide some sort of safety net if things were to go wrong; DJI has some pretty poor after-sales & warranty service, judging by reviews online.
