3 one for the master and one for CIA and one for the hacker who lives down the lane.

Nuts. People are okay with this no name crap being in their home?
Sharing is caring ❤️
This is an outdoor camera, typically placed at the front of the house to observe visitors coming in from the public road.
I can't really see why it would matter who could monitor that?
I use a similar ptz camera out the front of the house. I couldn't care less who can see traffic passing by the front of the house.
The only big call-out I can make is that often these cheap cameras force you to buy their cloud subscription otherwise give you a horrible experience that makes you wish you had purchased a reputable brand product.
Unless you have descent network segregation, you are potentially opening up your whole network with the devices like this sitting there.
Do you have a link or something that i can read or google for more information?
I don't understand why people want to buy WiFi security cameras that need separate power supply. You are going to have to run a cable from the camera to a power source. So, you might as well as ditch the WiFi and go with a PoE setup.
Plenty of houses have outdoor electricity already, not many have ethernet.
And probably fewer with PoE
Since you're an expert you also know the cable run needs to terminate to a patch panel or central location where you can introduce or replace a PoE switch.
run a cable from the camera to a power source
Mains power is more readily available in convenient locations, and is a couple of meters not 10 or more to a comms closet.
Downvoted because I'm correct ;)
its very easy to restrict the internet or put it on a seperate VLAN, there is no security risk with this camera if you use it correctly.
Do you have a link/guide that i can read? Or specific words i should Google myself, to learn more about it? I'm interested in reading more because I don't know anything about it
dupe listed here.
$29 delivered…That's dirty cheap , how's the quality though? Anyone had one before ?
does it work with tuya? or can someone link one that does
For anyone with outdoor light fittings this is quite good:
1080P Light Bulb Camera,Security Camera System with 2.4GHz WiFi,360 Degree Panoramic Wireless Home Outdoor Surveillance Camera https://amzn.asia/d/fSUpqOUSimilar price point and Amazon prime delivery.
Only caveat is that the latest version of software they put everything behind a pay wall. Best to install the previous version and your all good.
Some places advertise this is that compatible; it isn't. It uses Yi IOT.
Same price as a dummy camera and actually works
OOS - Those sites that allow you to view non-secured cameras is about to get a whole lot of new listings.
So approximately how many servers in foreign countries does this call back to per hour, and how many backdoors does it open into your network?
