Free upgrade to PS5 version which is well worth it for the DualSense haptics features adding considerably to the atmosphere.

    • Dualsense haptics reminds me of the early days of the Wii controllers. Everyone thought it was the best thing since sliced bread but it just feels gimmicky and doesn't add much to the experience for me.

Fair enough and no offence to people who love it, but it's a way overhyped feature imo.

      • It definitely is not a gimmick. Rumble features have been a large part of the experience since the late 90s. Dual sense is just the latest generation.

      • Duelsense haptics is not overhyped. Fair enough that you don't like it - some people just turn it off - but what it can do with haptics is incredible.

        • People used to say the same thing about wiimotes and motion controls 😄

I know it's not as bad as motion control but I do think some people really do overhype it. The novelty wore off pretty fast for me anyway.

          • @Fappo: I personally love the duelsense haptics but I do have mates who turn it off.
Each to there own I guess but I would definitely be disappointed if this feature wasnt used in new games or is forgotten about like the touch pad as more time passes

            • @Lord G: I mean, I don't hate it, I just thought it was ridiculous how people were calling it revolutionary when it first hit. In some games I've found the trigger tension stuff annoying, but not as annoying as motion controls or the touch pad (long may it stay forgotten).

Such a great game. As is Control. Wrapping Alan Wake and Control into one universe was such a tease. It's a shame they don't release games often enough to actually flesh out the universe. I want to know more about that what that motel is exactly…

  • Ahhh I missed out nooo

Loved this game. Didn't know they were making a sequel, looking forward to it.

It's all about diversity and inclusion these days. I think the sequel's appropriately being titled "Alan Woke."

Annoyed that I got this for the 360, when I could have just waited 11 years and got a slightly better version for PS4/5. 😠

Get more annoyed that when the licensing for the music was expiring, on PC you could have bought it for a few bucks in STEAM.

        • I do have it on Steam, but it isn't "Remastered"

          • @Aureus: AHHH thats right……I forgot that - I missed it on steam……but still have by 360 copy.

  • Looking forward to playing on my 360, once I retire, wouldn't really pay more for a marginal graphics improvement, and lose he charm of the game as it was originally created
