Special Terms

  • Cashback is eligible only on the net ticket value, excluding GST, other taxes, levies, and surcharges.
  • Cashback is ineligible on: (1) flights paid in part or in full with Velocity points or Virgin Flights credits (cancellations etc); (2) rescheduled flights; (3) use of any voucher codes; (4) flights booked via the Virgin Australia mobile app.

    Buying VA flights with Cashrewards has never tracked properly for me, haven't had this issue with other CR stores or SB.

    Also VA loves rescheduling flights. For a flight in Oct that I booked a few months ago I've had it rescheduled 4 times by them already.

      By rescheduling, do you mean the departure time has been pushed forward or backwards by a few minutes?
      From my experience, I've always had the cash rewards fully tracked.
      Just don't book on your phone via the app, it won't track, as pointed out in the conditions.

        Yes back and forth by several hours, annoying when you have a connecting flight and the other flight isn't moved, leaving you with a 5 hour layover. :/

      Yes, because if you call to reschedule, it effectively cancels the original booking and books a completely new flight.

    Thanks, looks like a good deal. Maybe this is equivalent to the email I got last week from our favourite Mr Joyce airline offering me $50 credit on a flight as a “sorry”, ostensibly for the flight delays but likely actually for blaming passengers for them.
