I purchased the Edifier S2000MKII from these guys a couple weeks ago at a similar price. Man they sound good! Very happy with them!

    • I did the same but not that satisfied with the sound. Connected to TV via optical and also playing music from phone via bluetooth. May be i am not using the right input. If possible can you pls let me know what is the input you are using?

  • How does this Asus A15 gaming laptop compare with the Acer Nitro 5 here? https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/719654

    • +2

Acer Nitro superior by far for gaming performance, display/resoulation should be the same, same amount of storage

    • +1

Don’t bother with ASUS, their warranty process is absolutely woeful… Acer by far

  • Ohhhh VR with eye tracking!!! Yes please!

  • Can anyone comment on the -for-money of the various active Bluetooth bookshelf speakers? Looking for some to play music in our living room.

    • Value for money*

Buy this speaker - Edifier Airpulse A100. Much better than Audio Engine speakers.
Audio quality is very good and very happy with it.
Very few speakers have good audio quality and a very beautiful and nice design.
It's usually $1000. This is a very good price.

      • +3

I have the A100. Love them. Excellent near field speakers for my desk, for gaming and WFH. Not too big either

    • S3000pro.

  • Does any of those Edifier come with HDMI ARC?

  • Just a heads up that S2000MKIII was available for $380 last week on eBay @ titan tech w/ Afterpay promo. Not a great deal.

  • Can you make it free shipping for all item above $100?

  • -1

What game can you play with a RTX3050? Minesweeper?

  • Wow, is this basically the cheapest gaming laptop that you'll like get with this spec?

    • Ya isn't this really good?

Dad may buy for the kids….

  • Are the Edifier S3000Pro's really that amazing? Reading some people saying it's better than their 1000's of dollars floor standing speakers (saw one guy say it's better than his JBL 580). I've got a pair of JBL 305P II's with the LSR310S subwoofer is it that much better (I don't mix purely use for music listening)?

    • +1

They probably are better than the 305s, and it really depends on the floor standing speakers. Have to think that these have been designed as active, so there is no way idk of mis pairing with certain amps. Of course there will not be as much bass as having a dedicated sub. I never liked subs as they were often just uncontrolled and too much, I use the s3000pro for movies and wouldn’t want more bass personally.

      • Yea it's hard without being able to listen to them and checking them out first, I was at least able to when I was deciding between the Mackie 524's and the JBL 305…

I had a look at the price of the JBL 580 and they're like $3200 for the pair so I was pretty amazed that this person thought the Edifier was as good or better.

        • Yea I had quite a few tries at speakers having listened to them and compared them. S3000pro was the first ones I bought without trying.

I think the thing is they sound so complete out of the box. I’ve had to switch amps and speakers numerous times to achieve less than them. I don’t think they would compare to towers, and at the end of the day, it all rides on your personal taste and preferences. I’ve shown these to mates and they have sold their existing stereo to get a pair of these, but I also had a mate who thought it needed much deeper bass.

Downsides is the volume increments are too big, no hdmi arc, no sub out, and maybe appearance. Other than that, I hooked my magic remote volume control to use the edifiers, and I never turn them off.

          • @onlinepred: That's pretty awesome seems like great speakers. If I get them it'd be for desktop use; I'd run them out of my SMSL M200 DAC using the XLR inputs and I'd probably just leave the volume of the speakers set and control it with my Mackie Big Knob (passive pot). Not too fussed about the sub if it already has enough (which seems like the case from what I've read so far). Only concern is the size is noticeably bigger than the JBL 305's but should still fit on my desk.

  • What's the difference between the S3000PRO and the Airpulse A100, both at around the same price?

  • Just letting everyone know: a lot of these products (the entire edifier range basically) seem to be sold for either the same or similar (1-2% more) price by other online retailers.
This is probably as low as this store can go while making any profit on some items, but check other retailers before you buy.

    • Speaking about edifier itself, I've found it to be great quality for the price point!
  • +1

I was considering the S3000PRO earlier but saw now the price no longer matches the post

  • "The coupon code isn't valid. Verify the code and try again."

Do I need to be logged in or specify a payment type for it to apply?

edit: that was for G5000 speakers, seems to work on other things.
