    Very old model. Been around for years.

      Indeed, used a couple of the 120GB capacity of this drive to rejuvenate some old laptops a few years back. The drives outlasted the laptops. Still have one them around

        Heh - I used the UV400 type years ago for old laptops, since they were a bit faster than this model.
        128 GB storage was quite a good size then - $70 or so I think.
        Those were the days hey.

  • DRAM-less. Generally not a good idea for an OS drive due to being less durable and suffering slowdowns during large file writes.
    Fine as a secondary storage drive for games.

  • Crucial BX500 is available for $49

    Wonder what kind of testing they use for this stat, especially since it compares it to a 7200rpm drive. Also it's dramless so it's going to be pretty slow on sustained writes.

    MX500 500gb is 65 bucks on amazon, far better option imo for the minor cost difference.
