[PC] World of Warcraft: 60 Days Prepaid Time Card US$21.78 (~A$31.43, Activates on US WoW Account Only) @ Top_player G2A.com

131

Thought I'd make a deal about my findings here

$31.43 brings a month of time down to $15.70~ a month - even less than the $16.50 it was last year directly through Battle.net for a single month sub.

Currently the cheapest WoW time is $17.25/m if you buy 6 months of time ($103.50)
3 Months of time comes to $18.60/m ($55.80)
and a month to month sub is $19.95/m

These cards will activate as long as you have a US WoW account, so you can ignore the "Can't be activated in Australia" message.
I don't think these time cards have an expiry date, so you could hypothetically stock up now and activate them prior to WotLK/Dragonflight expansions.

Looks like Dragonflight is also cheaper than the Bnet store at AU $51.27

I actually used to play wow, and I don't get this lol. I thought all accounts were the same? What do you mean "at long as you have a US wow account"?

There are two types of WoW accounts - EU and US.

If you've played in the past then you've very likely played on the US servers. Oceanic servers are apart of the US Region.

      • Ohh. Huh they were different? Never knew that. Cheers for the explanation =D

    • Edit. Ignore this. My phone didn't show the trail…

Bro, spend the ~$2 and don't give your money/personal info to G2A.

    • Is it worth giving them your money/personal info if you're saving $8.50?

      • Nope.

This is not financial advice. I am not a financial advisor.

  • You'll also be missing out on the 'free' in-game mounts they've been gifting to people who are on a recurring 6 monthly subscription.
Up to you if that, and not having to deal with G2A, is worth the difference.

  • It converts to $34.49 AUD using PayPal as payment method for me.

    • Looks like the price has increased to AU $32.96 - I see that price when checking out via PP as well.

I was logged in at the time and had my currency set to AUD - perhaps you are converting from the US price?

G2A will sign you up to weird subscriptions for "protection" and won't let you cancel. Avoid.

  • On today's standards is this game any good. I never played it back when it was the thing.

You can download it for free and play retail up until level 20 (the current cap is 60). This will only give you a small taste of the game's content, but if you like the combat and mechanics then you'd probably enjoy everything it has to offer.

  • WOW made so much money, I would think it be free by now lol
