    • what do you mean - i love them!
these would be great as motorcycle boots - match the bike

  • +4

Yeah that's a fair price with those laces
But still replace them and you have a fairly cheap pair of timbs

    • +1

Yeah exactly, laces are like <$20 bucks to replace.

      • +15

        <$2

        • +7

$0, use black marker from work

          • +1

            @DONMAI: if your very astute

You can claim depreciation on the cost of the marker

  • Won't let me go through with delivery. Is it only click and collect?

    • +2

It works fine on my end. Try different browser maybe?

      • Ordered on my desktop and seemed to work. Idk my laptop was having a moment I guess. Thanks for posting

  • +2

This is a really good price actually just swap the laces, shame I have all the colours already, bought for about $280 each

    • +2

      The laces?

      • ahah nah the shoes, have black, red, white, brown maybe not all the colours but the main ones

  • This is a really good price, bought some for $170

  • +1

Needed some new shoes, thanks OP :D

  • +1

What's the difference between the Original Premium and Luxe???

    • +1

No 400g primaloft insulation, but supposedly you get a higher quality leather. Companies use the term "lux" leather to distinguish their higher quality leather from their standard range, although there is no industry wide standard to regulate it. More marketing jargon than anything else.

  • Very nice find OP

  • +1

Grabbed a pair along with some extra laces to chuck the price over $130 for free delivery!

    • +1

Any links to the laces please

      • Dunno if they fit properly but I just grabbed some of the black 140cm Dr Marten laces

    • +1

haha as others have mentioned, the $0.01 away so i went to check, it rounds up to $130 anyway. I wonder if this was intentional on their end.. i would guess they tried to be clever but didn't consider rounding by algo

      • Ahh right! I didn't bother to test, but all good needed laces anyway.

"You're $0.01 away from Free Shipping"

What does the 6 inches refer to?

    • Laces.

      • Nup, Height of the boot

    • +7

      ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

      • I guess I'll just have some room to grow.

  • +11

the red laces are fire not sure what you guys are on about

    • +1

I like them, but you wouldn't want to wear these if you're white with a shaved head.

    • +1

"the extra". RMW's are four times the price, and a different style/intended audience.

No point buying a Corolla, better of spending the extra and getting a Porsche Cayenne 4x4.

      • No point getting a cayenne, better off spending bit extra and getting a pair of g-wagons

        • No point getting a pair of g-wagons, better off spending bit extra and getting a G700

  • Thanks Op.. Got one

  • +1

What's the sizing like? I usually wear a us 11/eu 44 but the size chart says a us 10 is an eu/44

    • +2

Sizing is half a size out. E.g, If you wear a US10, these run at a 10.5. Makes them hard to size as they don't sell half sizes here, and they are half a size off AU too when you convert boot sizes.

      • Really? So if I'm a US 11.5 I should have gotten a US 11 instead of the US 12 I ordered? The size/fit guide on their site suggested a US 12 for me (I am a UK/AUS 11). Are you saying that effectively they aren't US sizes, they are the similar to UK sizes?

        Thanks

        • +1

Yea I think so. My timberlands are a tad looser than my usual shoes so half a size up sounds right to me.

        • +1

I wear a AU9 / UK9 in blundstone, Rossi and redback boots for work. Some are AU9.5 but normally boots stretch with work.

          I wear a US10 / 10.5 in most shoes / boots with US sizing.

          Bought Timberlands in a 9 and a 10.
The US9 was an AU8.5 - way too small
The US10 was an AU9.5 - too loose as a boot, sloppy fit.

Their US sizing is out due to them being wide. We only stock full sizes here. Overseas they do them in every half size.

        • Can confirm. I normally wear a 10.5 and bought 11's and they're big.

Strangely, I have a pair of Timberlands in 10.5 that I bought in the US and they're much more than half a size smaller. My old ones I had to stretch out a bit, these ones I'll have to put a thicker insole into.

          • @macrocephalic: Awww snap, mate, I made the same mistake these are 1/2 a size too big! What insole do you use to make these wearable? Is it a long term solution? Or am I better off just returning them and getting a US7? (I'm an AU7/US7.5).

            I Got a US 8.

            • +1

@lordra: I put the maseur sport insole into pretty much all my shoes. You can get them from Woolies or Kmart for about $15 and they're the best one I've found.

              • @macrocephalic: Cheers mate, let me try those, I think you may have just saved my life!!!!

              • @macrocephalic: Update - got the insoles, cut them down, they fit really well and the shoe feels great! Thanks so much for the tip!

  • Is it still toe one? Pls advise

  • Hey guys, any fashion tips wrt what to pair this with?
Apart from the standard blue jeans and white T shirt?

    • +1

Do NOT try with a suit. Dont ask me how I know.

      • +5

        How do you know?

      • Does it go with brown leather jacket and dark blue jeans?

        • Yep, that sounds good.
Blue jeans… ho hum. Maybe a washed look, with another complimenting colour.

        • Brown jacket and black shoes? I'm certainly no fashion expert but I generally think it's best to not mix blacks and browns.

  • +1

Add a pair of socks for $2.99 to get free delivery.

    • +1

During checkout it does free express delivery regardless. I didn’t had to add anything.

    • Didnt have to get socks for free delivery but I dod get shoe laces from amazon.

  • +1

    thanks OP this a win.

  • +1

    Great deal. Thanks OP

  • +1

    Awesome, thanks OP

  • +1

I've already received a tracking number so it's not a pricing error. Great deal, thanks!

  • missed it by a few minutes.

size 12US was there….went looking for 0.01 item to get free shipping. 2.99 socks…..boots are out of stock.

US11 are still there if that suits anyone.

  • Who is the target audience for this? I.e is it functional or just a fashion statement? Or is it a case of "if you need to ask, then it's not for you"?

    • +5

They’re well made, easy to wear and waterproof, unlike my Goodyear welted boots. Saves wearing your nice boots out if it’s raining or wet in the depths of a Melbourne winter.

And at that price, they’re a steal.

      • Thanks!

I usually wear Keen Targhees (wide version, both the low cut and the standard). Has anyone tried both and can compare?

    • +1

Can be a bit of both, I use mine in the snow, wet weather days, camping.

    • +1

They're very popular in the colder climates of the US (at least they were when I was there a few years back). I swear about 1 in 5 people in Manhattan wore them - and they obviously aren't farmers. They're fashionable but also just well made boots.

  • +2

I'm glad this is sold out… wouldn't have been able to stop myself

  • Where does one buy quality replacement boot laces from? The ones on the timberland website have one bad review?

    https://www.timberland.com.au/47-inch-replacement-boot-laces…

    • +1

I have bought from Timberland before and they were overpriced yes and not as similar to the ones from boots itself, but did it’s job and it’s holding pretty good so far.
Someone above in this comment said <$2 for the laces, don’t know where they buy it from 🤔

    • My Timberland laces snapped easily, and I replaced them with this brand: https://www.amazon.com.au/gp/product/B01M0IFOI6. They were a few bucks delivered and I had them in black (seems out of stock now). Looks like I got 120cm ones at the time. They too have snapped, but at least they were cheap and easy.

  • Great buy if you're not worried about the style.

  • I had a dream last night that my Timberland boots fell apart after walking through snow.

  • US Size 8, 10 and 11 available again.

  • not sure but will give timberland for $130 a try

  • Still a pair of size 11 left, just got the last 8 myself. (Note the sizing runs a bit big, normally I’m a 9-10)

  • Damn bought a size too large. Should have bought both and refunded one…

    • What size? I have 13 and 14

      • US8 haha.
