I’ve been watching this game online for a while and retails at approx $79-99 at other stores. I believe this is the cheapest the game has been, dropped from $72.90 previously on Amazon.

As someone that has put roughly 100 hours into f12020 and f12021, this game has EA stench all over it, virtually the exact game just with more bugs.
Less game modes, more micro transactions and bizarre AI difficulty between races made me give up on this pile of trash way before my 10 hour trial was complete.
How would you rate F1 2020 vs 2021? Thinking of upgrading from my F1 2018 lol
Would the trial not have been pre-release demo though? Maybe some of those bugs were ironed out.
I enjoy it but probably not as much as 2021. I echo some of your points about AI & minor bugs but it’s still fun venturing to new tracks.
My issue with AI is on 2021 I was very competitive consistently at ~85-90 but in 2022, I’m barely competitive at ~65. I won in Canada, 3rd in Australia and the rest were around 12-16. AI is more prone to driving into you and straights, yeah good luck with keeping up with them. I also find tyres degrade so much quicker in 2022.
The main bug for me is in quali it freezes while I’m in the pit so I’ve lost all that hard work. Also I’d have a good P1,2,3 & Q1, but when it hits Q2&3, the AI Become a lot faster but my car seems to stay the same. Also don’t even worry about qualifying in the wet, AI seem to qualify with Dry times…maybe I’m just really shit at this game lol
Possibly, I don’t like that your preset difficulty is locked in for the whole racing weekend, so I’d do say 75 and be fast enough to challenge for points (running in haas) in a few races and 2-3 seconds a lap off in others.
By the time this comes out on gamepass hopefully all the bugs are ironed out but in the meantime will sink some time into f1 manager
yeah fair enough. I'm in an Alpha Tauri and yeah i agree, i'm so far off even though im going flat out. New tracks/layouts keep it fun though. I think had this package been in 2021 i'd be pretty upset.
