How does this compare to the Crucial MX500 SATA SSD?
MX500 is much better.
The P2 uses QLC memory (stealth downgrade in 2021) and when tested it has sustained write speeds that are slower than a hard drive when the cache is fully used up. It also lacks DRAM.

So if the price is right I should get A2000, SN570 or 970 EVO plus?
Waiting until Black Friday haha
I would pick A2000
@bri11iant-y: If encryption is not required the SN570 will probably be better as OS drive due to faster 4k random access.
Happy to be corrected if I am wrong.
Thanks for the info. Those stealth downgrades are more than enough for me to not support this product.
Would this be a good NVMe drive for NAS Caching purposes?
entry level nvme, perfect for those low tier PCs or if you're just really lazy about SATA Cables.
Data and power! Twice the saving when it comes to cables haha
I’d rather just spend extra on a drive that’s not a joke
