    Finish brand is better.
This one is from Woolworths: https://www.woolworths.com.au/shop/productdetails/215333/fin…

    $40.00 - 125 tablets => $0.32 / 1EA

Questinable statement. From my expirience Fairy is better than Finish.

Yeah I got fairy from last deal and it didn’t like it

        Sounds like you're finished….with finish?

I couldn't really tell the difference tbh.

Just get the Aldi Advanced ones, they're better than any Fairy tablets

    • Aldi one is more cheaper, $0.17/each

But now I start to use Aldi's bottled powder, $3.9/kg, more durable

I like fairy better. Hate the brand name, the packet, and the colour of the tablets! BUT, I think they wash better, they don't all stick together if you get a droplet of water in the pack and the tab fully dissolves each time.

Posted below just a couple of days ago on other Fairy deal:
I noticed lately a lot of posts about dish washing tablets… This better than that etc. The way most of dishwashers are designed, almost does not matter which tablets you'll use getting best results nearly impossible with a tablet due to not utilising detergent during the pre-rinse cycle because tablet is getting disposed into the washer only during the wash cycle. If you throw tablet directly into dishwasher - it will be used during the pre-rinse cycle, but not during the main wash…
I'm not good at videos, but I tried to create one to save money and effort while getting better dish washing results, here it is if you are interested : https://youtu.be/GGDv2x9H-SY

I put my tablet in the dispenser and place a spoon full of powder in the bottom. Seems to work.

That is great approach too. I found myself that combo of a tablet (your fav one - everyone has an opinion on that :-) ) and powder either in pre-rinse or at the directly at the bottom should yield subjectively best results.
The only thing is, some dishwashers have a trouble to release the tablet if dishwasher is overloaded close to the release latch. If you use powder in both compartments it may minimise the chance of dishes not being washed properly.

    • IMO dirtier the plates the cleaner the wash

Choice disagrees with you on both performance and company ethics.

    • I wouldn't trust choice either. Their slogan may as well be 'it's your choice'. Every review website has a different take. It's impossible to account for all the variables in dishwasher, food, how or if you scrub, how long you leave dishes in, climate, etc. Then there's also the potential company incentives and biased opinions that go along with it. Better to give everything a go and see which works best for you.

      • That doesn't make any sense.

Choice are indeed impartial, and they run the same test with the same food, same scrubbing, climate etc.

Trying it myself I'd never be able to replicate those conditions in the same regimented fashion.

I go by Choice, THEN I try for myself the top few recommendations. Fairy is indeed inferior… both by Choice's test results, and my own trials. Fairy also stinks! Very strong lemon scent.

        • I meant the user's conditions are all variable.

It's also very difficult to prove their impartial but that's just my own skepticism talking. But you do you. My point is you can't prove Choice is any better or worse than any other review site and they all say different things. May as well not look and just go with your gut.
