Been waiting for these to go on sale at Coles so I could give them a try. Particularly the Protein Water as I want something lighter than whey.
Its pretty good, very easy to drink or could sip on it throughout the day. Certainly wouldn't pay the full $30-35 but at this price, it's comparable to BN's Future Whey.
Sale also extends to the other powders like Custard, protein bars etc.

Really good. Had it with 350ml of water and it wasn't overly strong but you can dilute it up to 400ml I think they say if it's too sweet. Like a Raspberry cordial really.
They also have the single serves of mango, passion fruit for $2.25 if you wanted to give it a go.
Taste is like raspberry cordial or jelly, actually the aeroplane lite raspberry jelly is a good comparison. I use the Protein Water powder to make my own jelly with gelatin powder, or add a bit to aeroplane lite to make it more substantial.
Didn’t like the passionfruit flavour as a drink, but it mixed delightfully in to mango&passionfruit jelly 😋

although this WAS lighter i found both flavours pretty gross tbh, just had to slam it down real quick.
Future Whey or the Muscle Nation stuff?
I didn't mind the FW but thought it had a chemically type taste to it. None of that with the Raspberry, I can definitely sip it

i went back to BN protein matrix+ which has lactase enzyme and the rocky road flavour is awesome
good to sip it after workout
Give the Protein Water a try if you're looking for a protein source that isn't milky/all whey. I'm going to grab a few more bags at this price, it's much better than Future Whey IMO.
You like any of the other BN flavours? Almost out of my chem warehouse musashi stash so trying to figure out what I wanna buy. The BN matrix stuff seems pretty well priced. Curious if you'd rate any other flavours well also.

Coles looked to have nearly the entire protein bar range half price when I looked today.
I stocked up on the custard bars and quest bars. Quest bar 4 pack was $8 which doesn't get any cheaper per bar
I didn't have a good look but yes, looked like it's across all protein/sports supplements or something like that. Woolies did similar a few weeks back.
non-sport supplements too, a slew of skincare products are more than 50% as well.
I like quest bars but they block me up something fierce no cap
Muscle Nation products taste horrible, tried their bars and powdered snacks.. Give Bodie'z water a try, also on 1/2 price special as the entire protein supplements range is on special.
I bought the Golden Gaytime flavoured casein custard today, i thought it was pretty tasty
Taste review on some of the protein powders. I personally think their protein powders are formulated for taste, rather than macro efficiency.
I like my protein thiccc and flavourful. Don't mind a doughy taste, but hate artificial.
Vanilla custard is the only one I've repurchased. I mix it with all the bad tasting proteins to improve texture and taste. The plant-based proteins are borderline garbage.
The golden gaytime custard is better than cookies and cream (tried both) so put that on your consideration list as well imo
Im tried all the muscle nation custard flavours with their sample packs and everything but the vanilla custard is gross.
All the plant proteins muscle nation make are rubbish like the above poster said all taste horrible recently got back to whey and it tastes so much better.
Yay, I bought a few Muscle Nation products at half price introductory offer a few months back. I’ve been hoping to see them at half price again, I’d never pay full price.

Found the Vanilla Custard too sweet, I’m getting through it slowly by adding a little to my other shakes and desserts.
The Protein Water is fun, refreshing as a drink (also a bit too sweet for me so I dilute with more water). Better for making jelly, (mix with gelatin powder). Turns out better than the actual MN Raspberry Jelly, in my opinion.
I didn’t like the Passionfruit Protein Water as a drink, so I mixed it in to Aeroplane mango-passion lite jelly - worked well!
