REVO DAB+ Table Radio with iPhone Docking - NEW Stock for $145

10

Domino is a high quality modern table radio, not one of the cheapies, but I think it's an excellent price for this product.

The inclusion of a graphical OLED display looks fantastic and reminds me of high end car stereos. This site may give you some better looking pictures, but not in white. http://www.revo.co.uk/digital-radio/revo-domino.php

    "Compatible with… future DAB standards"
lol So I guess it can also tell me who's going to win this years Grand Final?

  • 10 presets, no AM/shortwave..

$145 seems to be a lot when you consider it's just a radio.

    • I personally don't care about AM if all the channels are on DAB, plus another 20 exclusives anyway.

  • This radio appears to be let down by the mono speaker, not sure why you will pay $449 (RRP) for this type of unit

    • Stereo speakers 5cm apart isn't necessarily going to give any wider sound stage IMO, but given that it has an iPhone dock as well, the sound of this unit is pretty good compared to many dock only products for a similar sound quality.

  • From the additional website provided by OP…

    Domino is no longer available.

Might explain the "super" price drop from $400+.

Props to the OP for the detailed post. Good work. I am just commmenting on the fact that it is a discontinued model FWIW.

  • Wait for DSE's $199 similar box to drop to $149 (again; see prev OzB lsting)

DSE's box has an Excellent "Internet radio"
as well as all that this seems to have.

Cheap as an Android app (in "TuneIn [Pro]"), "Internet radio" is COSTLY in a mini-bookbox.

Be PATIENT and get something that you'll get much MORE pleasure from for years-to-come:

Wait for Dick Smith's one to get cheap again, WITH "Internet Radio"

    "I'd buy -another- one @ DSE (for <= $149)"
