So popular, these knives are my favourite. The red ones are on sale now. I just got a set to fit out my 4x4 camping setup. I have used these for years and love them. Red handles help cover the blood if you forget just how sharp these little blighters are.

          @Spending2Much: One is straight on the top, other has a curve that sits nicer in the palm of your hand. Look at the pictures of the 2. Normally would not care much about the difference but for the same price the classic handle with curve is nicer for me.

  I got the coloured one of these about 6 months ago, edge has significantly dulled. We've had the black ones for about 15 years now, and it feels like their edge has held up better. I have noticed that the handle design is different between the black and coloured - is there also a difference in blade?

    They have the 'straight' and 'classic' handles. Don't know about difference in the steel. I have one of the pointy ones and I dislike it's cutting edge and design.The ones I got years ago were way more expensive, maybe there have been changes. Some of mine are sharper than others, however I keep seeing family members scraping the blade sideway to get things off cutting boards, not on the back of the knife. Figure that was it.
