Showing as AUD97 for me for single Pro licence, should be ~ 57.

      yep for me too

      • same

        • I contacted the devs, and we figured it out.

Opening a private/incognito browser windows, and doing the clickthrough, the code is transferred.

So odds on it was a browser extension.

So I disabled Adblock Pro extension for bitsdujour page, and this allowed a discount code to be automatically put in on the click thru from bitsdujour to directory opus buy page.

Anyway, use code BDJAUG2022 if your having issues i.e. If it's another extension still blocking the input of the code on the click thru…

OP, please update OP with code, for those having this issue.

          • @metalslaw: Still not working for me. Even disabled all my extensions.

            • @Drakster: Does it work if you just input the code BDJAUG2022 ?

              • @metalslaw: Yes.
Nevermind. Didn't read the fine print. Choose Bank Transfer to generate the preview, which had additional fees.

A cash grab before MS release the Windows 11 multitab FileExplorer :P

    • On that basis, and the seemingly deceptive offer pricing, I'll give it a miss. Thanks the heads up.

      • Download the 1 month trial software and play with it for a month. It has full functionality, and it will let you determine if the software is for you. Then wait til Black Friday deal.

      • Adblock pro extension was breaking click thru auto-fill for me.

        Use discount code BDJAUG2022

That's like not buying PageMaker because WordPad comes with Windows.

      • Directory Opus is going to be 100x more functional than a basic Windows 11 file explorer, multitab or not.

    • +2

It way more than just a file explorer, and its very customizable to do things that a windows 11 multitab fileExplorer cant do.
I have been using since the amiga days and have never regretted it

  • Been using this for over 10 years, absolutely worth the price. It has so many features and active development, including local support and helpful forums. Head and shoulders better than the crap Windows Explorer.

Normal price is $89 at their website https://www.gpsoft.com.au/order_intro.html

Not sure about this seller, the website seems a bit sus, but the application itself is awesome.

Edit: 60 day trial available to test if it's worth the price for you: https://www.gpsoft.com.au/DScripts/evalrequest.asp

    this or xtree gold?

  • I found many explorer replacements are slow when accessing NAS contents. Much slower compares with windows Explorer

    Anyone not feeling it?

    • Yep.

I use this to manage files on my NAS without issue.

  • Thanks op, picked this up. Directory Opus is awesome but waay overpriced.

With this deal it's just overpriced. It's still the best file manager I've seen though. I like having customisable saved lister layouts. Works great.

Plus it has all kinds of advanced scripting.

    • Glad someone snagged this. I'd have used it, but I'm already at 5 licenses + USB and FTP so I'm good.

      • Yeah, thanks again!

I've had a search alert on ozbargain for this going for like two years now! It practically never goes on sale.

  • Deal extended, for anyone that thinks they've missed it.
