  • Do i buy this or wait for one with more attachments?

  • What cleaner do you guys recommend as a cheaper alternative to the Bissell branded one?

My included bottles are about empty!

    • +2

None. The Bissell cleaner with oxyboost is the best on the market. You could use a commercial one but you'd pay hundreds for a bottle.

      • +1

I dubious to believe best on the market but any cleaning agent will do job as long as can extract out.

    • +1

If your just after a chemical / cleaning agent to use go to a commercial reseller and buy a product call Conquer. Water it down 8 to 1 and put it in a spray bottle. This will do the job…BUT be very careful as strong stuff and that's why best to water down. Use lightly to start and go from there, once put on and massaged into the stain you need to extract ASAP (do not let sit on stain or like all other cleaning agents will bleach fabric/carpet if left in). Hope helps.

Could even buy a 5 ltr and will last a lifetime :)

https://www.bowdensown.com.au/guides/how-to-use/interior-car… I use this and it works out really cheap and works very well on my home carpets and sofa

  • cheapest deal or this deal is good enough? Wondering if this spot cleaner good or not….would like to use it for cleaning the fabric occasional chair or fabric chair seats etc

      I've never bothered with this.

I have a wet dry vacuum and a brush that goes on a drill. I simply use soapy water (laundry detergent solution mostly), agitate with the drill brush, and then suck up with wet vac. Rinse and repeat. Once water is sucked up clean, job done.

I've bought an see-through attachment cheap off Ali Express to see the water being sucked up.

      • I do similar and I own one of these Bissell SpotCleans. It works well for a small spot clean on carpet, but the weak suction makes it slow for anything bigger.

  • Does anybody have any experience re this vs Turbo version?

    • +1

I believe the turbo has a longer hose which would be enough for me to take it over this one. I have this one and the only thing I don't like is the length of the hose.

      • That's my assumption too. In reviews for turbo people seem to complain about that less.

EDIT: Just checked the bissell page - Turbo is 10cms Longer

    • +1

The turbo has stronger suction as more current draw.
Also comes with more attachments and has greater capacity. However, can't go wrong with this price. The turbo is $369 RRP.

      • This is a great price for this unit. I bought the turbo from good guys commercial for $289 just a month ago

  • What do I get for doing 5 seats in my 2 x cars?

    Are these things enough?

    • Works well for seats. However, might struggle a bit with the carpet as it doesn't come with the right attachment.

Supercheap Auto sells the one with the car cleaning attachments.

      • This comes with 2 attachments, both have a bristle brush - 1 is small and the other is probably 3x wider (still small though). Both attachments are for carpet, how are you using the brush on your seats lol?

  • I have this and I find I have to hold the unit up while cleaning the couch because the hose isn't long enough to have it on the ground. apparently, the supercrap auto one has a longer hose.

  • Yup it had to happen :(. Just paid $184 at TGG yesterday

  • +1

    Great carpet cleaner
Has been very useful when baby milk spills on carpet

  • My order was just cancelled due to item being out of stock.
