Bugger - paid $3.79 per cable (free shipping) from another mob 3 days ago. Should have waited to save that $1.60 (got 2 cables) and got myself a choc paddle pop.

Or 1/2 box of Choco Pops from ALDI.

thanks, just when i needed one

    • Same, bought an Xbox, came with no HDMI cable. Looked around and BAM!, this deal comes along.

I wish people would search for these deals more, I had a colleague pay $100 for a Harvey Norman rip-off HDMI cable.

    • A true OzB'er!

    • Yeah it happens, all you can do is smile and nod.

    • I just wish Harvey Norman didn't exist.

  • Just got three, to replace some old component stuff I've still got hooked up.

  • Where is the pickup location?

    • Sydney according to the header, but if you message them they will give you details I guess. But with free post why would you bother collecting them personally, unless they were very close to you I suppose.

      • Yeah, just in case they are within reasonable walking distance, otherwise post is fine.

  • Thanks, OP, just grabbed three for a new TV/BR installation.

  • thanks, bought a spare :D

  • Did the rounds at work and bought a bunch for everyone.
    Sweet as, thanks!

  • First post here. Good deal. Usually the cheap eBay HDMI cables are only 1m, the 2m is a lot more useful.

  • Meanwhile.. topbuyelectronics sits back and makes $3,531 in 5 hours. I think he's the real winner here. :)

  • Nice deal picked up a couple for myself.

  • I bought a cheap HDMI cable once. The build quality was poor.. plastic casing around the connection broke away.

Piece of shit i tell ya!

    • Should have picked up one of the $150 ones from Harvey Norman. Would have lasted twice as long!

      • Yeah agreed, i hear those Monster cables for $150 each are indestructible and worth every cent. :P
I have never spent more than $15 on a HDMI cable. The ones i bought about 4 years ago for $12 each are still working great.
        Just bought 5 of these.

      • I had a good laugh when HN tried selling me a HDMI cable with my TV couple years ago.

The cheap HDMI cable I bought was meant to be my "spare". Didn't last long, it broke the first time I tried to use it.

Is your real name Chuck Norris?

        • How do you break a HDMI cable? I have a bunch of these cheapies and never broken one :S

        • Technically the cable could still operate fine.

It was the casing fixture that covered the wires to the HDMI port. It was a very weak, crappy plastic material that fell apart. May have been damaged in factory? Who knows.

  • Thanks mate, bought two!

  • Got two, thanks!

  • Just noticed "15 to 20 Business Days" shipping and handling time?!

    • Probably not really in Australia. That's typical for overseas.

      • Says it is from Australia, so if it comes with HK post or similar, they may be receiving a lot of negative feedback.

    • yeah, just noticed that too.

So they probably pool in a weeks worth of order, ship them from HK to their 'warehouse' here, then re-ship them out locally.
