  • Is there any type of printable coupon that comes with these $4.95 codes?
My local Dominoes continually refuses to allow me to have $4.95 pizzas (even though the code works through the internet without a problem) unless I present a coupon.

  • Can't you order via the net and then pickup at your local shop? What is the difference?

    • I always do that…but when I get to the store they refuse to hand over the pizza unless I a) show the physical coupon I used or b) pay the normal full price.

      • Exactly. It's annoying because you don't have the normal bargaining power of "Fine, I'm not paying for it".

My local store has been doing it for years and the last time it I tried to use a $4.95 code I was asked to pay $6.95. I refused and they said they would refund my credit card charge but they did not do it. I have not been back to Dominos again and it has been a couple of years. I used to order pizza all the time.

        • choose "Pay by cash", not "pay by credit card" when you order your pizza online.

Then you will have the normal bargaining power of “Fine, I’m not paying for it”. And just walk away.

You still have the chance to pay by credit cards on store if they are happy with $4.95 code.

          • @zagzzig: I tried this. The guy (store manager, or so he said) "gave away" my two pizzas instead of just selling them to me for $4.95 each.

            • @me: Keep doing that twice a week or something until he realise that he rather sell you one than keep loosing time and money :)

          • @zagzzig: My local store doesn't even have the option of paying by cash. I know Dominos' website says you can but it's selected stores only.

If I can pay by cash I will no doubt choose that option and see how many pizza they can afford to "give away".

  • all these coupons have been posted before: 41161, 65375, 71587, 98859 (http://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/5130 and again at http://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/7083 less than 1 week ago). 64184 not even was posted before (http://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/7078 less than 1 week ago), but it's for $5.50, not $4.95.

  • It sounds as though I'm fortunate that my local Domino's (Holland Park - Brisbane) hasn't asked for any printed coupon the last 3 times I've used codes I've found here on OzBargain to order on-line/pre-paid. 1st 1 was for $3-95 Ham & Pineapple / Sunday pizzas, and the last 2 times have been for "modified" $4-95 pizzas.
I wonder how much longer my luck will hold?
Also, I don't recall seeing ANYTHING on the web site stating that you need to present a voucher for the discount code you use when ordering on-line…

    Cheers,

  • Just used coupon #41161 with no problems.

  • I got $5.50 pizza with 64184…just tried 98859 that worked. 41161 was expired for me. :(

  • 64184,65375 These are expired for me and

  • The Dominos at Malvern, VIC always reject any sort of deal.
Very very weird store. Once I ordered by phone and the guy said
sorry we don't do those deals and hang up. What the… ?

    • That's the same with the Carlton one in Victoria. I have since stopped going to Dominos.

  • 64184 - expired
    65375 - expired
71587 - not available for Rozelle store
98859 - not available for Rozelle store

  • Why don't you guys ring up head office and complain? I think they will be more than happy to help you out.

  • Domino's is just getting worse. Did you know you
    1) can't use the internet ordering system on a public holiday (must be too difficult for their computer system to add the 10% surcharge) On that note, do other stores charge a 10% surcharge on public holidays? Mac Donalds? Hungry Jacks? KFC? I DON'T THINK SO!!! What, is dough more expensive on public holidays compared to buns and sesame seeds?

    2) Most of the codes don't work any more… they are store specific

    3) Can't customise pizza's other than to swap 2 toppings.

    BOTTOM LINE
These Pizza's barely have any topping, and given they now cost more and have less stuff on them, they tend to taste terrible. It's funny how when something is cheap or we get it for a bargain our brain tricks us into thinking it taste's so great. I think I will have to now defect back to Pizza Hut or the local pizza bar who funnily enough will honour the chain coupons, and no doubt make a mean pizza. Might have to try it!

Anyone have any pizza hut coupons?
