Free if you can get the YouTube Music Vanced app with Vanced MicroG to get your preferences sync. I know Vanced went under but I was already setup.

I've been using Smart Tube, but recently it has started playing adds at the start of each clip. Still no adds while playing the clip but at the start of it i now get adds.
And another annoying thing, it keeps getting removed from the favorites from time to time. Is there a way around that? Sony AH-9000 TV.

What is extra in premium version which isn't already available on free version except for no ads? Ads can be hidden even on the mobile app.
How do you hide them on mobile?
Personally, I'm happy enough to pay a couple of dollars (via Argentina) to hide ads on both PC and mobile (and Chromecasts, etc.), and have it be simple to set up and use.
Maybe I'm just not a real OzBargainer.

following this I can't seem to see a referral link. Trying to find it elsewhere but no luck.

My "free" trial when I got a google nest was overridden by an attempt to load a free month from a google mini…..ah silly me.

Received an email this morning. Price changed from ARS 119 to ARS 389 a month. Effective Nov 21.

The ARS has devalued by around 75% in the last couple of years, so Youtube probably getting tired of giving away the service for (almost) free.
