Hijacked account? Member since 2010 and 100+ posts… Can't follow posting guidelines.

    • +8

Or just posts and waits for mods to fix it for them?

      For example, this and this

  • Is this new, or used? And what size is this?

    • +2

Old title was better at explaining this

      • Hahahahahahahahaha.. it was

    • New 14".

      • +1

Same as mine but used. What a coincidence.

  • Would this be ok to play Minecraft and Fortnite on? I presume yes to Minecraft..

    • +1

would there even be enough room to install fortnite?

  • +12

    E-waste for $272

  • +1

This would be a very frustrating windows experience for sure.

    • +2

Probably cant run ms paint properly as well

At the retail store I work at I put one of these on display and within 5 days the screen backlight died (no other laptop has ever failed this early and this spectacularly before). Please save just a little more money and buy something from a much more reputable brand. There’s a reason this is cheap.

    • +4

This is just junk. I agree. Please don't waste your money on it.

  • +3

This cpu and amount of ram are absolutely not worth this price. Woof

  • +5

The 768p display, non upgradeable RAM and 64GB HDD will definitely leave you wanting more..,

Better off spending $300 on one of the refurbs that have been posted lately

    • Yeah, would rather have a second hand business laptop with an 8th gen CPU and a real SSD than this trash.

edit: just looked it up and the lowest tier i5 8250U CPU is more than twice as fast at both single thread and multi core than this.

  • +3

Umm I don't know how else to say this. If you can't afford to buy a new actual laptop, buy a refurb.

This is just ripping off the technologically illiterate.

  • +4

With those specs this is basically a netbook, and they died out years ago for a good reason.

    Get this instead for $299

    LENOVO THINKPAD T460S 14" | I7 6600U | 8GB | 256GB

    • You're right, it's probably better, especially from a build quality perspective, but I'd avoid buying anything pre 8th gen intel at this point.

  • Waste of money, a new laptop that works with today's apps cost at least $500

    • you could say its e-waste

microsoft are charging you $272 to thoughtfully dispose of their dregs

  • "I'd buy that for a dollar!"

  • +1

Low res and MMC without the possibility to upgrade storage.

    SARCASM

A little more respect please - if you've watched that brilliant Chris Hemwsworth production "Interceptor" starring his wife and have a keen eye, you will have noticed this is in fact the exact same model notebook that saved everyone in the end.

Just by pressing the "enter" button.

    Tell me you're not impressed.

$272 to re-enable defensive missiles is a bargain in my opinion and well worthy of this post.
