I want to like Patagonia, as they put in more effort to be sustainable than 99% of clothing brands. Unfortunately, 99% of their clothes feature their label quite conspicuously. Country Road has a similar problem. I like my clothes with minimal branding.

    • Agree 100%. Do you recommend any brands making high quality clothing that have minimal branding?

        ASColour

Not sure why you're being negged - AS Colour clothing is minimalistic, good quality and great value.

        • How good is the quality of this brand?

ASKET are great (having bought a few of their items) however the price doesn't really align with OzB.

        • How good is the quality of this brand? Bloody expensive and look like Kmart clothing (which doesnt last)

          • @specwarop: So far only have their chinos and shirts which are mainly for work but I'm really impressed by the quality.
Chinos worn 3-4 days/week and shirts ~1day/week for past 18months and still have plenty of life in them (holding colour and showing no major signs of wear).

      • I thought I was the only one that hates branded clothing!

Bonds Original Pullover hoodie is remarkably comfy, I’ve had mine for over 4 years now and a bit faded it’s going strong. I’m not a fan of fleece as I’ve got a high core body temperature and the bonds jumpers I find have a really nice soft cotton feel. With a tiny Bonds tag on the side that easily be removed, or kept! Recommend.

Unfortunately bonds gear is often terrible quality in my experience, and they are not credentialled for either sustainability or ethics.

          • @eraser215: I personally only buy from the bonds website, I find anywhere else is definitely inferior quality.. or I’ve just been lucky with my clothes from there 😅..

      • Picked up some stuff from the Assembly Label surplus store over the weekend, can't comment on durability yet but definitely not much to worry about on the branding front. Not cheap, but neither is Patagonia (although assembly stuff isn't technical wear either, but horses for courses).

  • only XL/XXL left

  • Is this a bargain at $71?

    • Maybe if you use the warranty and get it replaced after a year?

    • Patagonia products are a bit pricey but theyre very very comfy. I bought a jumper from them and it feels very different from my other ones. i think its thicker and more durable and the fitter has been amazing too. but defo, a bit pricey
