I can't recommend this game enough, but know that it's brutal, especially for new players. I'd recommend checking out some videos on YouTube and trying each map in an offline raid. You can also try the single player mod (https://www.sp-tarkov.com/) but make sure you follow all of the steps when installing it. Good luck, and hopefully we'll meet as friendly scavs on Interchange sometime!
I've played this game through many wipes - but right now cheating and hacking is at its absolute worst that it has ever been.
Be prepared for frustration, and be prepared to randomly die in very suspect ways until they fix these issues.

Aye! I rage quit shortly into the current season. I am not familiar with PTSD, but I found myself launching MS Flight Sim or Apex Legends just to cheer up a little after playing Tarkov. At that point I knew it was time to take a break.

Absolutely brutal. No hit markers, maps, hud. There is a heavy reliance on external sources for any assistance due the lack of any in the game itself. If you enjoy a challenge and hardcore unforgiving games, this is it.
Just bought the game this morning. Downloaded. Start the game. Spawned in a super dark night map. Feel like playing a horror game. Went in an old building. Get oud and get shot from no where. Fuc*ing brutal.
