50% CB capped at $10 is a standard Booktopia promo.

      I'm disappointed TA

  • +2

Mine didn’t track last time. Took screenshots and submitted, should totally follow that up some time and see what happened.

    • +2

I imagine the response from support will be like this.

      • To be fair, Cashrewards have resolved any issues I've had with tracking. Shopback, on the other hand, are much less reliable and clearly don't give a shit.

  • +1

There is no free click collect option.

    • +2

How would you click and collect from Booktopia?

      • It's like you r going to get from auspost pick up but paid version

  • +13

Remember, even with cash back, prices probably won't be cheaper than elsewhere.

    • Seems like a good deal on eBooks at least.
Prices are the same across the board so 50% discount is good enough

  • +4

I always get this mixed up with Book Depository who have free shipping.

    • +1

      and cheaper prices

  • +3

Cashback covers the postage cost of $7.95 plus a little more

    • Yep. I wanted to buy Old Vintage Melbourne, but I can just get it from Amazon with their free shipping + 3% cashback for $1.53 more. Then there's all the Amazon credit/discounted gift cards which will offset that too.

      • booktopia = aussie, amazon = overloards. need to be both ozbargainer and also a little mindful.

  • +8

Don't forget to check www.booko.com.au first to see if you're actually getting a good deal.

    • +3

I used to logon to booko daily to check my watchlists, but it's development in recent years has turned it into an unnavigable mess.

A shame, as is the removal of their perpetual Booktopia link voucher for free shipping.

      • +1

The Free shipping link was why I stopped buying from booktopia. Shame. I want to support Australian

  • +7

    Shipping cost spoils the deal.

I see this intro to posts sometimes… "I reached out to TA for a deal and here it is!"

So it's just as simple as messaging the bloke and saying "oi you don't know me from a bar of soap, but give me a higher than normal discount", and he goes "ok I definitely wasn't gonna, but since you asked…"?

    • +1

And that, my friends, is the question that has plagued mankind throughout the ages.

      Outstanding…

Hey OP, are you related to One Big Switch? or at least a member? because the same was posted in the email to One Big Switch members earlier than your post ;)

  • Are pre-orders eligible?

  • Any codes for Free shipping?

    • Not that I know of. They wouldn't stack anyway….

  • Damn, my choice is the same price on amazon with free shipping for prime so the 10 cashback doesn't cut it for me

  • Ordered an item on back order, should I have received tracking by now?
