I tHiNk iT's an iNvEstMeNt wiTh HiGh yiEld.

  • Is 6v any good for 2+ years old?

    • +3

      get 12V.
      6V is just a total E-Waste.

      • There is no 12V

        • Do your homework harder, son

    • +1

Depends on your kid and you. I have a really slow one the younger ones like as it's easier to control / not as scary. A faster 6v one that the older ones like that I can keep up with walking.

Have taken the 6v walking speed one to kids parties up to 6yo and it's always been a blast.

Wouldn't bother with anything faster as my kids wouldn't use and I wouldn't want to chase them in it.

Is this OK to drive on Victorian roads?

    • +2

No. Unless it’s simply painted orange, and has a business monopoly on exemption. Then yes.

      • +5

i do not care. i am going to sticky tape my license plates to the front and back of my t-shirt and drive it anyway. Petrol is quite SIMPLY too expensive these days!!

    • +7

You'll need to pay the EV tax in Victoria

      • +1

I've just asked my brother-in law to make an extension with his welding kit for a tinny holder jutting out the side. I think things are looking up at the moment.

Ewaste and t waste (toy waste) is real

Big lots of plastic s""" that end up in the bin in 2 years time

If you buy this, and use paper straws and "recycle to save the environment" your virtue signalling

Own your planetary destruction and just be real.

    • +3

So are most items in most peoples home to be fair. Toys, many appliances and the vehicles we drive are often largely non-essential but they sure are convenient and/or fun. I couldn’t care less, but sometimes, unless you live without many of todays modern conveniences, comments re virtue signaling are in fact guilty themselves of virtue signaling..

    • +1

Could have done without the slight ran :p

But agreed, this stuff doesn't last long….

      • A child will also out grow it quickly. Throw it in the bin and move on.

Edit: Throw the bike in the bin.

        • +3

Glad you cleared it with the edit. Nearly threw the child out.

          /s

      • yeah i couldn't sleep.. probably shouldnt have ranted as a result of tiredness

        • Nah if you're tired, you're cool. Rant on brother!

  • Hammmer let’s see it.

    Car Motorcycle Motorbike

    🥴

    FYI Code requires eBay plus

  • +9

Are these gonna have subscription for heated seats as well?

    • +1

Only if you don't include it in your upfront purchase price.

  • +2

Aldi needs to bring one out that works with their electric tool ecosystem

    • Absolutely, surprised Ryobi haven't done something already with their ONE+.

  • +4

Wouldn’t recommend these. The description says its dimensions are 67cm x 32cm x 44cm. So pretty small unless it’s for a 1-2 year old

    • The kids clearly need tacky sunglasses to ride the bike going by the photos

  • Looks unstable and an accident waiting to happen

    • Can you elaborate?

  • +2

My two very active boys (5 and 2 at the time) were given one of these each for Christmas two years ago (bought from Kogan but these look exactly the same). They are still going strong and get absolutely hammered. I would definitely recommend them at $49.
I should add, my boys are on the smaller side so the size of the bikes were/are no problem for them.

    • Hello! Could you share with us how long the battery lasts on a full charge?

      • I couldn’t say for sure but it certainly wasn’t unreasonable. We normally just charge it overnight every few days and they would ride them around heaps during the day.

  • OOS

    • They added more stock now FYI.

      • Thank you! Got one.

Perfect for the new Westpac graduates.

  • The green/EV camp are really brainwashing kids early

These were around 30 years ago when I was a kid and I still eat my daily serving of coal now as an adult. So had no effect on me.

  • How does this Kmart Ride On Quad Bike for $55.00 compare?
    https://www.kmart.com.au/product/ride-on-quad-bike-42640264?

    • +8

This ones a BMW - so in theory should cost more to service.

    • +1

have the same one, have had it for 2 years and hasn't missed a beat. possibly good until they are 3 years old, but depends on how tall your child is. also have a larger 12v ride on as my kid outgrew it, but it the kmart one will be handed down to the younger sibling.

      • Where did you buy the 12V ride on and how much?

        • eBay Rigo brand, was on sale for $140 as a new opened box, normally over $200

  • within few minutes, gone out of stock.

Bought my first BMW :) Thanks Op

  • +7

Seems realistic, no working indicators. Typical of BMW drivers

    • +1

BMW drivers don't have any use for indicators.

      • Only white BMW's driven by a certain demographic don't use indicators

  • back in stock, bought one. Thanks OP

  • OOS

  • Thanks

  • Getting this error: "Unfortunately, this code no longer works. Please continue with your order."

    • Same error

  • Does this only work for eBay Plus customers ?

    • Only for eBay plus

      • Thanks

  • Wonder if this manufacturer will get bought out by Elon.

  • +1
