  • Anyone used these?

    • +1

Yeah good value for your $$$, not Maxtrax or Tred quality, but good enough for the occasional use.

    • +1

Yes they are excellent, i reach for these more than the Maxtrax for recoveries. Where Maxtrax really shine is all the mounting options available for them.

    • They are good quality for the price. I recently used a pair on a massive bus that was bogged in mud. It took a few gos to get them out, and when I checked them afterwards only a couple of the lugs had come off and there was a crack in one of the corners which isn't a big deal. I assumed going into it that they probably wouldn't survive trying to recover something that heavy but I was pleasantly surprised.

Have also used them alongside $100 ones from BCF to help recover a 4wd in soft sand. The BCF ones were destroyed after but these ones hardly looked used.

    • Yeah I get regularly bogged around the farm so they have had lots of use
Ended up buying 3 pairs and no dramas so far

Its not like there is superior traction from other brands so I just buy cheapies now
Much safer to leave on the ute too :D

Here is a good review https://youtu.be/xkI2qPsa96I

Damn that's a good review sold, thanks!

      • Yep, that's the one I was put on to as well.

  • The X-Bulls don't do as well in the very cold weather. These are designed to flex so work better in the heat and can be brittle and crack in the cold. Would still recommend though, just be aware.

    • Pretty sure any plastic recovery tracks would be more likely to crack in very cold weather. I've read reviews before where people have said their Maxtracks cracked in the snow. I wouldn't be surprised if these were more likely to though since they are more rigid than Maxtracks.

    • I've used mine in the snow no issues, actually due to the harder compound they have fared better than the Maxtrax.

  • Keeps changing to $10 shipping when I go the check out?
