The frustrating thing about warehouse is sometimes I get excited seeing an item and then I get disappointed when I can't add it to the cart. The same items will pop up again later on, so I think perhaps this time I can add to cart. Yesterday I saw those tempura chips appear several times but couldn't add them to cart any of those times.

Just chat. Asked if there is any compensation for the inconvenience (was no inconvenience but gotta stretch the truth a little 😉), and was credited. Last week they gave me a free month of prime, so I guess it's up to agent's discretion
Definitely dependent on agent. I contacted chat on my cancelled orders (though a few days later) and got nothing. They just directed me to order through other sellers, for a different product!
