Lol. Thank you for your response. So if I upgrade my NBN to 118Mbps and use this instead of the standard modem it should be good for 3 people streaming and my son won’t blame the lag when he dies? It’s currently 50Mbps. Or just try changing the modem over first?

How do the specs on your current router compare to this?
@MS Paint: Thanks @Muzeeb I looked up the specs for Netcomm NF20MESH and couldn’t work out the comparison. Sorry, low-tech guy here. I kinda lost interest in computers when Commodore went out of business. My son does mention ping quite a lot.
@Skatez: Lag is less to do with speed and more to do with latency (ping). Wifi will always be inferior to ethernet cable for that, if possible in your circumstance.
@snoopydoop: Thanks snoopydoop. He was using the yellow cable before but not since we moved house. I’ll see if I can get it back happening again in the lounge room but sometimes he takes the console into his bedroom. Thanks for all your help guys.

@Skatez: If you have 3 people streaming and your son is gaming at the same time, then I would pick a 250Mb plan - the basic 100Mb plan doesn't leave a lot of headroom for that use case.

yeah silly at full price and even half price imo, but acceptable at $4.25 if you want a chocolate bar alternative with protein/low-ish sugar.
Out of the curiosity of the high RRP I bought a few at $6.26 to try.
They tasted just like ordinary chocolate bars i.e. very sweet and nothing much special.
Agreed to Dealr they are way overpriced, I'd probably just get some high percentage dark chocolate if I'm on weight watch and want some guilt free sweets.

I so want this, have a Yamaha 5.1 amp sitting here doing nothing but just can’t do it atm. Had my finger hovering over the button when it first got posted the other day.
Plus, I’m working on getting another setup together with OG Bose lifestyle cube speakers for the top end and a monster JBL 15” sub for the bottom end. Full mini nightclub sound for my house. Just gotta get the sub.
Just get second hand from MP or GT. 10% of the price and 95% as good if you pick the right ones.
For sure thanks Mechz, good advice. Gonna try this for some Yamaha speakers for the TV. I don’t like my chances of finding this particular sub on there but I’ve seen JBL Eon speakers on there which are also great. It’s 18” actually, been a while since I checked it out in the store. This is it here:

For that money, in a regular home, just get the best SVS you can at the time of purchase.
@Mechz: This other system is not for the TV/home theatre. This one is for playing music and using my DJ equipment. The guy in the store was having a sook because I wanted to have the PA sub I linked combined with the Bose speakers which are not PA and he said that it should all be PA. Do you know any reason why you couldn’t have this PA sub running with non-PA Bose speakers? Because the Bose speakers I have with red around the edge (series 1 or maybe 2 lifestyle I think) go insanely loud without distortion.
Plus, in my head, the goal was to recreate my own mini version of the Heaven Nightclub (Adelaide) sound system which was the best in the southern hemisphere at the time. It had all Bose speakers on the roof and JBL subs built into the walls.SVS looks comparably expensive at a glance, $1000 for 325w RMS but it has seemingly better range starting at 20Hz vs the JBL at 31Hz. I want people to feel it shaking their organs around.
Also, good news, found Yamaha front towers that look like the ones above for $100 on FB so you nailed it there.
So do you know if you can have a PA sub and a regular non PA sound system playing music together?
