Does anyone know when Amazon cancel an order do they not take the money from credit card until the item is picked and started to be dispatched?
@Korban Dallas: If i buy something using gift card balance its marked as pending and gift card is reflected by this. It is the case, i have orders on back order for 2 months where the payment has been removed from my gift card balance
@Puglife: Puglife is correct. Although it's 'pending', it is still taken out of your gift card balance unless it's cancelled.
@hamza23: Yea well that is correct. It's not a credit system and don't think it could work any other way unless you had a backup payment setup.
If you had $5,000 in GC balance and spent $4,900, makes sense that you could not make say a $500 transaction via GC
@Korban Dallas: Gift card payment already has credit card as a backup. If the gift card balance is insufficient at dispatch, it could charge the card as is normally would if paying by credit card. If that credit card backup payment method charge also fails, then the order doesn't dispatch.
Eg my pending order that is paid by gift card displays:

Gift CardEven though the money for that order is taken out of the gift card balance already.

you cant, need to drink it all in a day or so otherwise will go flat. These near expiry deals in bottles aren't great as they will already be a bit flat plus those are 2L and sugar free which all makes it more likely it will be flat before they are finished.

I wouldn't buy a used one without warranty, plenty of reports of various high end wheels like these failing.
There is some warranty but yeah probably wouldn't be the full warranty. I haven't had to go through warranty for many things in my life, maybe I've been lucky. I wonder how Amazon are with regards to warranty on their warehouse stuff.

@chrisie: Well it's listed as used, not open box or demo. Given Amazon's lenient returns, if something died in 3 months they would probably refund you but beyond that, I'm not sure.
I will say, since these are returned items and not really 'used' (as in, second hand like ebay or gumtree), they really should honour the warranty but I wouldn't hold my breath, I'd expect quite the potential run around.@pizzip: It really depends on the item. Some items are in the warehouse just because the box is so mangled they've had to put it in something else. With this particular item, it's not that clear.
