Will be great if this had USB-C charging instead of Micro USB
I was the same, bought the X3 instead. USB-C charging, a USB-A reverse charge as a backup battery for devices… but it is large and weighty. Roughly 25cm long and 10cm wide. It is round but with feet to keep it steady.
Sound is ok. Bass heavy when boost is on, treble lacks clarity but then expect that from a portable speaker. Great for a single room or small outdoor area. Bluetooth connects effortlessly.
I bought mine from Amazon, and BlueAnt are an Aussie company.
Micro usb is a deal breaker

Can confirm these are decent, missus got one through Telstra points a while back and its very comparable to my Bose soundlink mini
They are brand new with a Blueant warranty, you wouldn't be disappointed.
Got one of these from Telstra and it was rubbish, cheap and lacked bass and loudness, wouldn’t pay anymore than $25

I am really surprised by your comment, the Blueant X1 is a small speaker that provides very nice sound and is loud enough for indoor and outdoor, whoever bought it, they love it and referred it to their friends. Again I don't know what environment you using it for, it's not suitable for a loud party for sure.
it's for a few friends on BBQ, it's great when doing your gym at home, great for gardening or lying down next to the pool or cooking in the kitchen or where ever you go, you take your music with you, fits in your handbag or backpack and it's lightweight.
I have both of them, the X1 and X3 and I am loving them, especially when we play family games while listening to music
