and fingers?
Very much so. I've cut both my thumb and forefinger in 2 week. VERY sharp!
Use a cutting board to avoid cutting yourselves.
the ones I bought are these which might be safer to usehttps://www.amazon.com.au/Victorinox-180300-0-Tomato-Knife-S…
@fozzie: They didn't actually do it. There is a subgroup of people thinking is hilarious to write that and never stop
Got some for free before the eBay garbage sale started… they are smarter now and the prices are jacked up before you can use the vouchers.
Perfect for drawing blood and cutting off ends of fingers
have a love hate relationship with these knives! Just last night, hand slipped and cut through the top of my thumb half a centimetre in…
At least we know it's really good for cutting meat!
I buy this knife everytime its on sale, its just that good.
i almost have one in every colour and blade pattern. absurdly good quality knives.
prime option at his price even back order seems gone …..
With the wavy edge, what are they like to sharpen?
you don’t sharpen wavy edge knives of this size …..idea is the peak of the edge starts the cut and the curve of the edge finishes it …….ideal for soft things like tomatoes or crunchy things like bread ……not ideal for meat as it tears the texture .
for big wavy edge knives like bread or pastry knives you can get rounded sharpening spikes , but haven’t blunted a bread knife to get to that stage …..
Not sure about sharpening, but I have them and they are amazing.
Orange sold out but green and pink handled versions available for just $1 more:

Thanks for the link, ordered the pink 👍🏼
Thanks :), got the green one for the same price as pink
Firstly, you don't sharpen these knives, when they eventually get blunt you throw them away.Secondly, why is it that many still complain about cutting themselves etc.with these knives?
Here's a clue….learn how to use a knife. Thanks for listening and have a nice day.srs question: how do you actually sharpen these type of knifes
If you had to, some sort of diamond-coated tapered cylindrical sharpening spike.
yes, you can use a tapered diamond spike sharpener but the sharpener
cost much more than the knife@garage sale: Use a small round file (preferably smooth cut) then finish up with 400 wet and dry wrapped up. Afterwards, strop the flat side on cardboard or something. Don't stress on getting into the valleys because it's the tips that are doing the actual cutting.
NB: These are disposable tomato cutters for the lazy, which I personally cbb going thru the hassles. My well maintained petty knives always have enough bite for tomatoes whether they are stainless or not. I save five bucks and time that way. But have it your way folks, either way pls stay safe…
Amazing knives. Got 5 from a deal on here in pink, very good for cutting fruit and veg.
