    I would stay away from gigabyte, nothing but horrible experience.

      but I've had my gigabyte mobo for 9 years and still going.

      also, can we some amd mobo deals pls ;)

      • yes. thats what cloudie9 is saying, it's all good until you have a problem.

        • That's how problems work

    • No problems here, and I got a cheap x470

  • Gigabyte has had a few more issue than others particularly on their DDR4 Z690 motherboards and XMP profiles (Take a look online, you don’t need to take my word on it)
    The MB is still cheap though and deal is kinda worth it so I recommend buying better ram to ensure compatibility.

    • I would add to this as well. I have had some horrible issues with Gigabyte boards specifically the Aorus ones, I certainly don't recommend them, the quality control is just not there.

    @cloudie

    Brave to speak your mind on OZB cause most people here neg you when you say anything negative that puts them off buying.

    My experience hasn’t been great with Gigabyte either. BIOS issues, boot issues

    What type of problems did you have?

      That is exactly my point, I had mentioned in many previous post, especially on SE deals, https://www.ozbargain.com.au/comment/11942389/redir, I bought the Z690 Gigabytes and it was running fine for a week then of all sudden, just won't boot up few days later. Tried troubleshooting including flashing the mbios and just won't start up. Nothing but pain. Apparently Gigabytes Z690 series has issues with memory compatibility issues. They just keep dishing out bios updates and unfortunately it didn't work. That's why you see a lot of Gigabytes deals. Google around and you will find out I am not the only person.

      Why the neg votes? Probably didn't elaborate enough? Anyway, I am very happy with my MSI board, stable and runs memory no issues.
