Ryobi 18V ONE+ LED Spotlight Kit $119 + Delivery ($0 C&C/ in-Store) @ Bunnings

610

Down from $149 is another Ryobi Flashlight Kit and this one has a lot more brightness and distance than the $59 kit here. If you were to buy the kit individually then you'd pay $109 for skin and the $99 for the battery and charger making this kit a good deal.

I've included below the stock levels for each store with stock. Just be aware that it's not always accurate and stores with a few units may only have display models or be OOS completely. You can call individual stores to confirm their stock levels.

Add the RYOBI 18V ONE+ Spotlight to your camping gear if you need a reliable long distance light source. With a 600m beam distance It’s great for outdoor activities at night like camping, fishing or hiking. Keep one ready at home for any power outages or where a bright light is required, such as working on vehicles or inside a roof.

Use the trigger switch to select between 3 brightness modes (500,1500, 3000 lumens). Use this LED Spotlight as a stationary light source by mounting it on a flat surface or hang it using the integrated hook slot.

Power this Spotlight with any RYOBI 18V ONE+ battery. Insert an 18V ONE+ 4.0Ah battery into this Spotlight and with a single charge you can get up to 8 hours of use on the low light setting.

  • 600m beam distance
  • 3 brightness modes (500,1500, 3000 lumens)
  • Soft handle with trigger switch
  • Integrated hook slot

How do you generate the stock level per store?

    • +3

You can view a store's stock level by inspecting the page > network tab.

    • There was a script someone wrote and linked on ozb, probably still works. I can't find it anymore but it was awesome!

      • +1

They cracked down and made it significantly harder now.

  • Either it all sold out in WA super quickly or that stock levels at location is incorrect

  • I understand what the product is , but 4 hours MAXIMUM on the LOWEST setting seems a bit on the short side to me?

    • 2.0Ah batteries are their smallest. 4.0Ah, 6.0Ah and 9.0Ah would offer a lot more.

      • yeh not useful on high drain tools

    • +1

      Why do you think that?

      • Just because I see low setting as I see it on most torches I have, as if it's a little above nightlight level. So if it is barely a glow I'd be disappointed with 4 hours. As other member said above, guess those that buy into the ecosystem with decent capacity wouldn't think about it. I also don't know this torch, don't have anything like it but I did purchase the 2 ryobi deals today, couldn't stretch my thinking to this one, though possible I'll regret it when I check it out one day. :)

        • That is fair enough, low setting does not necessarily mean low output, its generally best to check the actual output of the mode.

So in this case the low setting according to Ryobi is 500 lumens, which is roughly equivalent to the old school 40 - 50W light bulbs, so definitely not barely a glow.

At 500 lumens 4 hours on a 2AH battery sounds about right.

          • @[Deactivated]: Thanks for clearing it up. Felt like the other ryobi deals stood out a little more than this one, but the way you explain it, possibly not the case.

            • @seamonkey: The $59 torch deal seemed to only have 1 brightness and its 250 lumens, so essentially that torch is half the brightness of the low setting on this torch.

This one goes up to 3000 lumens which is very bright in this sort of form factor. And generally speaking as the lumens go up so does the price.

              • @[Deactivated]: Yes indeed. I think the other thought I had was how I underwhelmed I was at performance. Might be expecting too much. Maybe its not even same model.

Good points you make though for sure. Clearly not apples and apples.

                • +1

@seamonkey: It is not the same model, the one he is reviewing only has 2 modes and its 2500 lumens in the high power mode.

Link seems to be broken? Seems like it should be this one 👉 https://www.bunnings.com.au/ryobi-18v-one-led-spotlight-kit_…

Comes up as offering me a snag, on the above link….

Right now, I'd definitely go a snag for smoko

  • Excellent light!

  • Excellent light!

      You purchased 2?

I think he accidentally triggered it onto his eyes and can’t see well anymore

  • Might get one for my ebike strap it in front basket.

  • +1

    Cockburn Central…. I think i'll go elsewhere!

    • +1

Might be pointing it in the wrong direction

      Gonna reassess your life choices?

  • For working in the attic, which one should I buy? The $59 flashlight or the $49 one (which is for camping, I think).
    Thanks

    • Decide quick, as both are running out of stock. But I'd personally go the camp light so light is dispersed where the flashlight is concentrated light.

    • +1

$49 light isn't super bright, the $89 camping lantern is better and it comes with a USB port to help charge things.

This LED spotlight is very bright, but is more of a concentrated beam which might be too bright for the area or not bright enough if you want to light up an entire attic.

  • I bought this light from the last deal.
It's very strong that it can be too strong for camping grounds.
I had to use low setting and point at the ground or use a cloth over it.
But provides great coverage and brightness.

    • What was the last deal??

      • They had this spotlight and the fan on OzBargain

  • This isn't in the tools display area.. that area only has the skin… should be displayed elsewhere..

I got a spotlight and the Camp light..

They were still in their boxes.. I talked to a ryobi rep who was there.. said something like father's day special

  • No stock anywhere that I can find….

  • How do these compare to a Maglight torch?

  • I wonder how easy it would be to replace the driver for a true low mode..? I imagine the hard part would be finder a driver that work’s on 18v…

  • I bought one from Castle Hill. They were sitting in a big box. Need to ask the salesperson to find them. Very bright.

  • Has anyone found this in WA or anywhere else?

    • Plenty at my local, south coast WA. $113.50 on powerpass app.
I thought they'd be sold out, but plenty left as of 2 days ago.
As well as a few of the two camping lanterns, both sizes, as recently posted.

They had these LED spotlight kits in two places, a few at the entrance to tool shop, and also on the shelf, individually stickered with big orange tags, that the kit is $119. Right next to the basic skins only, at $109
