Kambrook Swiftsteam Steam Station Iron $69 + Delivery ($0 C&C/ in-Store) @ Harvey Norman

200

Have been on the hunt for a steam station after missing the Philips fastcare deal for $99 a few months ago.

https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/705255

edit for the fastcare deal link*

Seems to be the cheapest price anywhere for a steam station of any brand. No reviews though but for $69 I took the plunge!

Preferably price match with The Good Guys to avoid Gerry.

Thanks Dingdong - great price for a steam station, although I'm also curious to hear what any owners or reviews say.

    • We have a cheap target devanti one, not this one I know but I can't imagine this being worse and the one we bought is almost the single best appliance I have ever got. It literally cuts ironing time in half or more and is effortless to use. For the price you can't go wrong with this

Our one does not need cartridges

      • Do you have the link to Devanti one? Looking for a non-cartridge one

        • They don't sell it anymore

        • Actually it was Bellini
I had a look for you and you can't get anywhere
I did see this Russell Hobbs Steam Power Steam Station, RHC450GRY, 1.3L Water Tank, Fast Heat-up, Variable Steam Settings, Grey https://amzn.asia/d/9dsvSDM

It has a removable filter but it did not say if it was removable and you had to replace it or removable and clean

          • @Motek Benzona: Thanks. I will look into the Russell Hobbs one, which is the next cheapest thing. Yeah need to look into their filters, replacements will cost a lot overtime.

    Thanks ordered one.
I've been using a tiny travel-sized iron for the past year, this is a huge upgrade for an affordable price.

Looks like a Avatars Hoo Hoo !!

How much and how often do you have to replace the cartridge?

  • Is the iron cordless?

This one at Catch is $39, although not sure about the differences.

    • They're totally different products, that's a steam iron this is a steam station/generator.

This lists “up to 90g/m” steam so it will likely have a much lower continuous steam output. Most other brands have at least 90 continuous with up to 150 plus “steam shot”

    • I don't think this product has a steam shot, but its specifications are lacking a lot of details.

  • Great iron, we just bought one from The Good Guys last week. Sadly it was $99 :(

They got price guarantee for 30 days.. u can get the difference back

  • Regular price is $61 on The Good Guys Commercial if you have access: https://www.thegoodguyscommercial.com.au/kambrook-swiftsteam…

  • My Philips Steam Station broken down, is this reasonable replacement or would be a lot different ?
