You can buy usb one from ebay for like $15. I have one in a box with his fav blanket on top, he doesn't lie anywhere else in the house.

This seems really expensive. Save your money & just bring a blanket with you & fold it up.
Your own body heat will soon warm it up.

Or just buy a heated throw blanket if you want electrically heated and sit on part of it. That's what I have been doing all winter. Can get one from K-Mart for $29. So I agree, this seems very expensive for what it is.

Good for people who plan to buy a BMW and don't want to pay a subscription for heated seats.

      • +5

        How f…ing stupid.
Is that why BMW indicators don't work - they haven't paid their subscription?

        • +2

          You think that's bad…

I have inside information that from 2028, the brakes will also be a subscription service !!!

          • @jv: Nah - thats already in place for 4WD utes
But the aggresive attitude comes for free with Audi.

    • BMW offer heated and cooled/ventilated seats.

      • Yep and in some models you'll soon be needing to pay a subscription ($80/year from memory - not sure if AU or US) to have that feature turned on.

Why? Heated throws are like $50 tops

      • Wanted something USB powered. (Plus it came to just under $80 without the battery.)
