Most of the RTX cards say they qualify on their site, guess BPC were too lazy to only add them to the qualifying models

This was more an alternative to the current mini-version deal, and a lot of people would prefer a brand like Asus over others which have been cheap.
I was just posting pricing history of this card. This information helps people decide for themselves whether it's a deal or not.
