If you are having problem with the kiss then you are aligning with the Nazis. Some of the people in the concentration camps were homosexuals. Actually society is improving. Allowing people to have a consensual relationship they want is not going do harm and having the media reflect that is not going to do harm. You cannot make people gay by having a gay couple kiss in a movie, you can make it appear acceptable though, which is should be.

If they had a really good look at Hitler Youth they would see what happens when you indoctrinate children with intolerance and hatred.
The absolute joke is if the right had let this slide most kids probably wouldn’t even notice what occurred. However, by making a fuss the kids now have a defining moment where their parent showed they were intolerant of others. Something the “fractious” teenagers can throw back in their parents faces as to why their parents shouldn’t tell them what to do. They have, now, cut off another pathway of communication if their kid is uncertain about something. They feel they will be judged.
This was a no brainer. You talk to the kid about consenting adults, tolerance and informed consent. You tell the kid it will be a while before they need to work out how this will, all, apply to them and you will support them when this time comes. Then the kid goes back to playing with his/her toys, knowing he/her has supportive parents.

It is the beauty of Disney+. Although I went and saw “Thor Love and Thunder” on the big screen. Look at the trailer and you might guess why :). Actually, the scene with the “players” is worth the price of admittance; it is one of the funniest scenes I’ve seen in quite some time. Will be watching it, again, on Disney+ when it is available. Thor Ragnarok is a film I’ve watched quite a few times. It is the beauty of having the, relatively, big screen TV. I, really, can’t see the attraction of Gold class when I can get a recliner seat, in a big cinema, for a lot less. Or I can wait for it on the streamer service and have my own wine and cheese. I can even put it on hold when I need to dash to the loo.

When the Nazis came to power, they never announced themselves as homophobic or anti-semitic. People bought into the nationalistic sentiment hook, line and sinker, and thought they were doing their part for national pride, by dobbing in their neighbours.
Of course there were the minority who saw right through the facade, and had the common sense to defy official government directives.
Now you may say that this is a very different scenario and that ther's nothing wrong with depicting a simple kiss etc., however it simply can't be ignored apart of current societal trends and forces which would seek to mould and exploit the vocal minority. It's these very undercurrents which have gotten people rightly concerned about the direction that our society is heading (and it's not for the better).
