While can't beat the old $8 deals, it is still a decent deal in my opinion. Hope it helps.

Sturdy and small. Good for hanging off a set of keys.

    https://goughlui.com/2021/12/22/review-lexar-jumpdrive-m35-6…

Overall performance seemed a bit inconsistent from unit to unit, but broadly as expected from lower-end USB3.0 products with over 100MB/s read speeds and 30-40MB/s write speeds (faster when not filled). The form factor and physical build feels good, especially given the price, but the warranty is a bit on the short side and the inside of the eyelet is a little rough.

The Lexar Jumpdrive M35 64GB is a disappointing product with a potential flaw. It seems whatever HDTune’s random access test is doing for an I/O pattern causes the drive to damage itself in some way that renders it inaccessible as tested on two of the three samples I had purchased.

Don't know how relevant that last bit is

    • Good consecutive write speed for the price

      • Yep I still bought one. I've already got a few flash drives, but none are this sturdy

Pretty sure if this is the same drive I have, it struggles copying large files - it'll run fine for a couple of seconds and then stop for a few, and repeat that cycle.

A bit annoying but it is what it is.

M35 is unreliable, expect fluctuating write speed. Save file checksums to verify whatever is written as read errors happen. Get M45 instead.

Damn, another one! Do I need a 5th?

    Hell yeah brother

Might be better getting the SanDisk USB 3.1 drive for $14 if speed matters

    • Those might have heat problems like the old ones

What are people using these for?

I only run cheap ssds with their enclosures, much faster but probably not as durable if it gets banged around.

My work car doesn't have Android Auto so I load up a USB with music 😉

    • I use them for photo and document storage mostly. They're so cheap I can do duplicate backups of photos, important documents, etc and give them to trusted friends/family to store in case something happens to mine. I also use them for work to store offline documents as I need something portable but able to stay safe in a dirty environment.

I also know people who use them to hand over client material like wedding photos, inspection documents, etc.

      • 64GB of wedding photos and inspection documents?

    • Windows recovery media, Linux boot drive etc

I mean not the whole 64gb lol but it's the same price or close as 16 and 32 with the discount

Many thanks OP, I got 2. (that's all the money I had left till pension day)
I am not worried about the negative comments, and neither should you OP

  • They are a medium speed USB 3 flash drive. I have faster USB 2 drives.

  • Deal looks ozbargained, nothing available

    • Still available at centercom
