  • Don't think these are dual-action. It states it's multi-function, which doesn't necessarily mean dual-action. I have one of these, and it definitely doesn't oscillate the same way as dual-action polishers do.

    • doesnt it say 'dual action' in the name?

      • It says multi-function, which I assume refers to it being both a polisher and a sander. Dual-action polishers oscillate differently to reduce paint damage. Have a look on YouTube.

Does this one include a panametric fam?

    • I'm not sure but I do know it's made of prefabulated amulite

  • Junk, but cheap for those who know nothing about paint correction and want to feel 'pro'.

    • What do you recommend for once year polish?

Depends on your budget, I like spending a good amount of money, but not expensive because I'm not using it as much as a professional, I bought many cheap tools but ended up with this and it's been fantastic

I messaged my detailer about this tool and this is his response…

        • Speed of a random orbital isn't measured in rpm so it's possibly not random but rotary instead?

        • If it's a rotary the 600w motor isn't nearly powerful enough and if it's random orbital it's only powerful enough to spin a 125mm pad. The friction generated from a 180mm pad will overcome the torque available.

        • The head is huge and will bump into things and/or restrict it's ability to correct some areas.

        • I know this unit and the internals are garbage as well as the case material, the total machine cost (volume runs) is about $10 and there's no R&D because the design was stolen from existing products etc.

If the machine is used sparingly with plenty of cool down time between panels and never dropped it should provide for light correction on soft paint. If advise to spend at least $50 more and go for a more powerful machine with better cooling, one with a GFRP body if you're using it professionally.

  • Picked this up a couple of years ago for 40 bucks or so, so it can potentially get cheapr. Still haven't used it

  • Careful before buying.
I don't think it's a Dual Action Polisher as per the OzB desc and eBay desc.
The eBay desc says it's "dual action" in the sense that it's a polisher and sander - not dual action in the way it orbits & rotates.
