  • I've subscribed to Mrandmrssmith and they specialise in boutique hotels around the world. The costs are towards the higher end of the spectrum, but if you're looking for memorable/romantic/unique places to stay then their hotel selection is quite good.

They've personally visited the places they list on the site.

  • Not sure how they get away with these rates and call it a special…

Just saw information about a major hotel chain launching sales in two weeks time (will post then)

    • They get away with these rates cause they're focussed solely on the "high end" and "unique" market.
The rates are genuinely what you'd be charged if you called the establishment and tried to book direct, so 2 for one is a bargain!

    • most aren't on wotif, and those that are, generally aren't discounted by much, let alone 50%, except for perhaps places like mansion hotel, the prince, spicers clovelly

  • The properties look nice. One big drawback in so far as usability if their website is that you have no idea where the property is located within the country it is listed under. I really don't know why they do that.

    • It's not at the top ?

      Alinghi
      Agnes Waters, Australia

      Allenvale
      Lorne, Australia

Unless you're looking for the specific address.

      • It is at the top of the individual listings and you have to page through those. There are more than 7 pages. Let's say you want a place somewhere in QLD. As far as I can tell, you will need to page through or open up each property just to see which ones are in QLD.

  • What is the second password for this?

    • what's wrong with the one provided?

      • Oh just last time I went on it said I needed two passwords..
