This is the older model without Touch ID. Built before Apple Silicon came out. Any reason I shouldn’t get this one and pay more for the newest one?

    • The new one with Touch ID needs M1 machine to work? (for the Touch ID unlock)

Yeah, I new a new M1 MBP. Can’t see how the Touch ID is worth the extra $120+

flat and chunky keys, never found these nice to use, especially touch typing, constantly hitting the wrong keys

  • Model MK2A3ZA/A looks very similar but is priced higher. Anyone know the difference between the two?

  • looking for a cheap+good backlit keyboard, any recommendations?

  • Good price. If you want the keyboard/mouse combo (magic 2) it is $169.20 express delivery with today’s flash code. Magic 2 mouse rarely go under $100.
For those who have not used Magic Mouse, the surface is touch sensitive so you can also swipe and scroll in 4 directions!

  • Contrary to the comments here I really enjoy this keyboard. Nice and simple. Could use backlighting though.
