  Excellent practice amp for at home. I use mine for bass and there is an excellent library of tones available that are perfect starting points to dial in your own.

  I recommend this for new players too - if you decide guitar is not for you, this also works as an incredibly good quality (and extremely loud) bluetooth speaker. only caveat there is that it needs mains power and the cable/adapter is bulky.

  also works as an audio interface for recording to garage band/PC. I connect mine to my ipad via USB too.

  extremely good value for money for any skill level - beginners will like the simplicity and play along featureset while the more advanced players will be happy they can use it to start recording their own tracks on a PC/ipad
