Hi everyone. A hot 2-hour Amazon Prime Day deal for our members with 14% cashback on every Amazon category, capped in total at $20 per member and valid for 2 hours only. ANZ Max members that pay with a linked ANZ card will get 16% cashback (capped at $20). Don't forget to join Amazon Prime in order to access all Prime Day deals - it's totally free for the first month. Thanks for your support as always. Stay safe, and enjoy :)

Please read the following terms & tips carefully - it will save a lot of questions:

  1. Ensure your Amazon cart is empty before clicking from Cashrewards, as items added prior to clicking will not earn cashback. Items must only be added to cart after clicking from Cashrewards.
  2. During the 2 hour promotional period, 14% cashback for Amazon Australia (16% for ANZ Max members) is capped at $20 in total per member account, irrespective of the number of transactions made. Valid 4:00pm to 6:00pm Tuesday 12/07/22 (AEST).
  3. Purchases paid with gift cards are eligible for cashback.
  4. Purchases paid with any Amazon promotional credit as partial or full payment are ineligible for cashback.
  5. Cashback is ineligible on purchase of vouchers, gift cards, kindle unlimited, audible, mobile apps, recurring subscribe & save items (first order only is eligible), Amazon Prime subscriptions & renewals. Cashback is also ineligible on use of any codes entered manually in Amazon's 'Promotion Code' field, and on items purchased from your Amazon wish list or 'saved for later' list.
  6. Pre-orders are eligible for cashback only if the item is scheduled to be shipped within 60 days of purchase.
  7. Purchases from Amazon US/UK are eligible for cashback provided the transaction is made via Amazon AU.
  8. You must return and click through from Cashrewards to Amazon every time you make a new transaction/purchase. Click and subsequent purchase must be completed inside the 2-hour window. Amazon tracking typically takes 1-3 days to report into accounts (Amazon tracking is not instant).
  9. The offer is valid during the promotional period unless withdrawn by Amazon earlier. Amazon reserves the right to cancel, amend or withdraw the offer at any time at its discretion. The offer cannot be used on pre-existing orders with Amazon.
  10. For tracking success, ensure you disable 3rd party plugins (AdBlock, uBlock, Pi-hole, Honey, etc), VPNs, avoid browsers such as Brave, close any additional browser tabs, and don't click away to other sites looking for codes etc after clicking from Cashrewards as tracking will be lost. Cashrewards must be your last click (not 3-Camels etc). Try our iOS/Android mobile app for great tracking results. Use our Help Centre & Contact form here for any questions or issues.

    • Cashback has been tracked for Kindle (Max $20).

I don't know if I will get any cash back for the airfryer but I put it through cash rewards anyway.

      • Thanks for patiently waiting :)

The airfyer will track at $0 cashback now that you've hit the cap.

      • Shame, should have ordered airfryer after the CR promo ended ahaha

        • The Kindle would have been a better choice since Amazon devices have high regular cashback, also Kitchen is 0% :(

  • I made a purchase yesterday on Amazon but then saw your comment on not adding a product from the wish list so then I cancelled the order and then reordered the product again. Now both of them have tracked - the first order (which I cancelled) is showing up as $20 cashback, but the second is showing up as $0. Will the cashback rectify itself?

    • +2

No it won't, as the system makes the assumption that the cap was reached. But please don't worry. Keep an eye on your account. When cashback for the cancelled one declines, PM and I'll adjust the other transaction to give you back the full amount :)

      • Thanks mate!

        • +1

No worries whatsoever. Thanks for the feedback re wish list. May have to go back to Amazon to get further clarity on their terms. Have an enjoyable week.

          • @tightarse: For clarity, I had the item in my wishlist but then would click into the item before adding to cart (i.e. I don't add the item directly to cart from my wishlist). Not sure if that makes a difference but thought I'd let you know

            • +1

@drakdaystar: Ah yes! That could be the trick. Thanks!

  • +1

    Cashback notification coming through now

    • Same here. I got into Amazon about 4 02pm when there was traffic and purchased at 4.10pm. Showing up the 14% cashback.

  • all tracked

  • 2/4 tracked so far

  • Still waiting… Amazon confirmation at 16:34

    • Just tracked at 12:49

  • +1

Cashback worked for me with 500+ tabs and multiple plugins including ad block active

    • Tell me more. I would like to subscribe to your newsletter.

      • nah people doubted it before, even me, so im happy it works i will continue this way

        • Maybe got lucky with Amazon as they use their own in-house network for affiliate tracking. Will be interesting to see what happens if you use the same methods for say Liquorland, Chemist Warehouse, Myer etc. Do let us know :)

    • with 500+ tabs

      I call bs.

  • If something was ordered that is "temporarily out of stock" should I expect it to track in 1-3 days per in-stock items, or only once a date is known? (couldn't see this covered in the deal text)

      1. Pre-orders are eligible for cashback only if the item is scheduled to be shipped within 60 days of purchase.

      You should be fine.

      • I believe pre-orders are items to be released at a future date (e.g. a movie recently in the cinema). Temporarily out of stock is already released items that they are restocking.

    • +1

I just got tracking for an item in the same situation along with some other in stock stuff, so yours should be the same.

      • It was, thank you.

  • How convenient. The first purchase of $80 hasn’t come through, but I get a notification for the second $13 one 😐

    • +1

      Have you read this?

  • Looks like my gift card portion didn't track. I thought it was included

    • -1

Literally just gotta read the OP! Gift cards are not eligible!

      • +2

        ?????
Point 3. Purchases paid with gift cards are eligible for cashback.

      • Let me clarify, I thought that Hallaj was saying that he bought a gift card, and this portion didn’t track.

        • I guess its just a timing issue as TA suggested. other will eventually track.

        • no prob!

    • +2

Purchases made with gift cards are eligible.

      Gift card purchases are not.

It wasn't clear by your comment which one relates to you.

      • purchase made via gift card as covered in point 3. but it could be timing issue as TA suggested.

        • If you purchased multiple items, you could be misinterpreting the purchase amount due to the fact they report by item. Hopefully it all works out :)

        • I just received my tracking and my purchases were before 5pm yesterday.

  • My cashback just tracked $20 as promoted - picked up a eReader Kobo Libra 2 for $199 effectively. Many thanks @tightarse for your hard work!

  • My extra emails slowly coming through, thanks for effort maintaining this thread.

    • +1

Hopefully you'll get all of them. As I said, just a little patience required due to the enormous size of the payload :)

  • Ordered at 5:27pm still waiting for tracking.

  • All 5 of mine have now tracked

  • I have ordered Instant pot 5.7l for $132.99 on 4.20PM with my cashrewards account but except this all others are tracked, even the cancelled order before the 4-6 PM time. I see one order tracked for $10.20, I didnt order anything for this amount, probably the Instant pot order tracked incorrectly? I have a click history for 4.17PM as well. So not sure what's happening. All orders from my partners accounts were tracked. We did almost 6 orders during this time but the one with highest cashback was not tracked :( I've to wait for some more time to see what happened and whether that will be tracked.

    • +1

I also have a 4.25 pm order which has not been tracked, whereas a later order at 4.50 pm has been tracked much earlier this morning. It is possible there is a small window around 4.20 pm, where for whatever reason, the tracking is more delayed than at other times.

      • Just checked the tracking on the app and now its tracked but still no email. Probably will get the notification but all good now. Hope yours will be tracked soon or check the rewards section manually.

    • My 4:21 PM order only just tracked. Was getting worried

    • Thanks Cashrewards :)

  • 4/4 tracked

  • Mine just tracked order placed 5:15pm

  • I originally bit the bullet and went for that $339 regular Switch during the tracking period, but got lucky with the OLED later that night and so went in and cancelled the first order.

Just got the cashrewards email that my tracking of it has been recorded however.. 😐
Is that going to be an issue or put a mark against my account?

      • Oh, I wouldn't be eligible for the 2nd order anyway because it was later that night after the cutoff, was just wondering if Cashrewards would see it as suspicious activity or not.

        • +1

Not at all. Amazon will simply decline the transaction's cashback.

  • +1

    I made 3 orders yesterday (4:44pm, 4:53pm, 5:42pm) and none of them tracked :(

I disabled everything, and been having tracking issues a few times…looks like I have to do it manually again.

One of them was delivered this arvo LOL

    • Same and my cashback was already declined by Cashrewards!! I am sending an enquiry right now, not happy!

      • Only cashback that's declined would be one you made with a click outside the 2-hour promo window, and within an ineligible category. Please check your click history. If not the case, I'll be glad to help. Thank you.

        • Thanks, already sent the enquiry through the weblink.

  • I just get notification that cahsback tracked for 2x $20? I thought only one per member. If I knew this, I could have just splitted those 2 orders into few smaller ones. I have one account only with CR.

    • TA reached out and even bizarre two emails showing each $20 cashback - only one of them is showing in cashback history for the $20. The other is $0.

  • Mine tracked yesterday

  • Received tracking, and used the $20 cap to its limit! Thanks, TA and the team at CR!

  • I bought something from saved for later list and just got tracked, does it mean the cash back will be rejected eventually?

    • +1

No, if it tracked and you don't change/return/cancel, you'll be fine.

      • Great, thank you:)

  • +3

None of my transactions from 12/13 have been tracked…

    • still waiting too, made one at 4.05pm

at least I'm not the only one lol

      • woo hoo just saw that it has tracked.

    • me either, around the same quantity. None was tracked.
Made an inquiry on CashRewards explaining everything I did with attached orders invoices and stated clearly I ordered via phone app for better tracking results.
Seemed like they did not even read the inquiry content and replied back to all users with the same line "You must return and click through from Cashrewards to Amazon.com.au every time you make a new transaction/purchase."

  • For tracking success, ensure you disable 3rd party plugins (AdBlock, uBlock, Pi-hole, Honey, etc), VPNs, avoid browsers such as Brave, close any additional browser tabs, and don't click away to other sites looking for codes etc after clicking from Cashrewards as tracking will be lost.

I had multiple tabs and clicked on other Amazon tabs because I had to copy and paste items but cashrewards still tracked. Just putting it out there.

  • @tightarse

Just checked my cashrewards and noticed my order cashback was declined. What the I made sure my amazon cart was empty and refreshed and activated cashrewards a few times, turned off my Adblock as well. I’m pretty annoyed by this. Have submitted an enquiry

    • +2

Only cashback that's declined would be one you made with a click outside the 2-hour promo window, and within an ineligible category. Please check your click history. If not the case, I'll be glad to help. Thank you.

      • Nope I clicked at 4.02pm and it was a lego set, pretty sure that’s within the period and eligible category

      • @tightarse has now resolved this for me. Thank you very much! Awesome oZbargain rep service haha

  • @tightarse

Just checked my cashrewards and my amazon order is not tracked.
I can see my click history but there is not any send claim button.

    • The send claim button appears exactly 7 full days after the click, so should be there later tonight. Thanks.

      • I made a transaction but the claim button is not there? Not even in the click history, 100% certain i went through the CR link………can you help?

        • Hi. If there’s no click to Amazon in your click history, you did not exit Cashrewards via Shop Now. Thanks.

  • Both of mine didn't track, over to the CR detectives… I have faith in you

    • Both have been confirmed by Cashrewards. Just had to confirm no codes and no Amazon credit used…

Read all comments, prepared everything but CashRewards was still not able to track my purchases.
This question may be silly from a computer guy but anyone knows how I can click with my phone? but do I need to buy a bluetooth mouse, sync it with my phone and use it for only Cashrewards?

    • What the support team is referring to by 'click' is the exiting of Cashrewards via 'Shop Now', be it via a tap on the app or a click on a desktop browser. We even refer to is as 'click history' in the app, so it's certainly a widely known and understood term. Having said that however, did you 'tap' out of Cashrewards via 'Shop Now' on the app and generate a new click/tap for each new order you placed? I'll be more than happy to look into this for you if you'd kindly PM me or respond here with your CR ticket number. Thank you.

      • +1

        Thanks for the reply.
And yes, I'm familiar with all the 'click history' and 'click' as I've been using Shopback and Cashrewards on PC/Mac heavily for a long time. However, unless I'm missing something, I've been reading the T&Cs and googling but I don't see anywhere mentioning what a 'click' is on a phone/ while using the app.
For a fairly new app user like me, it's confusing as it's not explained. Only thing I see in the T&Cs that

Try our iOS/Android mobile app(cashrewards.com.au) for great tracking results

I disagree with what you said that 'click' (on the app) is a widely known and understood term so it does not need to be explained. People from different backgrounds may not know this (e.g. a lot of people I know did not even know there's a Cashrewards app until I showed them, just like me in this situation) so it needs to be explained, especially when people are encouraged to use the app for better tracking results.

It was also even more complicated when it's not clear to us if we should separate our items into different orders to avoid cashback getting declined. And we were only clear half way through the promotion when you had to explain it twice and here. If there had been no such confusion, we'd had had only 1 order with all items in there.

        • Still unsure what the issue was with your order, but if you'd like me to help, the offer is there. At no stage did I state that separate orders would be needed, only that if you did decide to generate separate orders, a new click would be required. See dot point 8 in the OP. Thanks.

          8. You must return and click through from Cashrewards to Amazon every time you make a new transaction/purchase. Click and subsequent purchase must be completed inside the 2-hour window. Amazon tracking typically takes 1-3 days to report into accounts (Amazon tracking is not instant).

          • @tightarse: The issue with mine is nothing was tracked. I spent a lot of time reading through the T&Cs and all other comments before doing it. Thus, a bit disappointing.

And sure, I saw that dot point 8

You must return and click through from Cashrewards to Amazon every time you make a new transaction/purchase. Click and subsequent purchase must be completed inside the 2-hour window. Amazon tracking typically takes 1-3 days to report into accounts (Amazon tracking is not instant).

This makes perfect sense if tracking is needed via browser on a MAC/PC but doesn't on a phone (at least to newbie app users like me). FYI it's not that I'm new to Cashrewards, I've been using Cashrewards almost from its inception back when I was able to track my laptop purchase on ebay.
Anyway, thanks for the offer. I'll message you.

          • +5

@tightarse: FYI for all people who are reading: After messaging TA, he went beyond and above to sort out the issue for me. Never thought it would happen. Thank you!

  • I put my whole order in one transaction.
Somehow 3 of the items tracked and others didn't not sure how???
    Its been 10 days now.

    • @tightarse any chance you could give me some direction.
      Sorry for the hassle.

      • Thanks to the Cashrewards team it seems to all be sorted now!

  • CR refused to pay me haha

    • What does this mean?

      • Dear XXX

Thank you for reaching out to our team regarding your transaction with Amazon Australia. I hope you're well.

I looked into your transaction and can see that it has been classed under the “Health & Household” category. Please note that Amazon Australia cashback is contingent on the cashback rate corresponding to the product category of the item you purchased.

In this instance, the category your transaction has been classed under was not eligible for cashback on the date of your purchase and that is why your transaction has unfortunately been declined by Amazon Australia.

So no Cash back for me hahaha

        • +1

Did you buy during the promo period? Because it does say all categories?
